As a family of 5 that joined this program this year for Pesach 2022; I would like to share our experience with you. They advertising this program as a 5* deluxe program, and price it as such - but unfortunately it’s not the case. I appreciate that catering for 900+ jews is a tricky thing and it will be difficult to keep everybody happy; but when you hear so many complaints around you and feedback that the organisers are even saying; “we can’t keep everybody happy” or “if you aren’t happy, you can go home” (*note; wasn’t said to me, but heard this “in the lobby”), then you should wonder what you got yourself into. “The evening dinners animated by an orchestra and a show” The orchestra is the traditional moroccan music, which is nice for 5 minutes, but for 2hours straight is torture. The show…. I’ve not seen any show. Except the last evening Mimuna there were some animals let loose on the grass. And a few drummers and singers. “Children meal starting from 6pm” This wasn’t children food. It was adult food (the same every day, reheated I don’t know how many times over), not suitable for small children and in most cases not enough of it either. The rest of the meals were the same, the same and more of the same. And none of the meals were ever served ‘hot’. Maybe the occasional sausage of the BBQ. But in general no food was ever hot. Salads were recycled over and over again and no served without any dressing. At some point I saw liver-pate being dished 2 hours in advance of the actual meal starting. That is close to a health hazard. The meals in general were badly organised. They should have done it in shifts. Meals started at 20:30 on some days. Breakfast was actually the best meal of the day. Indeed lots of cheeses and dry cake, yoghurts and salads. Omelets also, but more in the style ‘what the guy with the pan could make’ as it was difficult to get your choice across. My kids ended up trying to show him pictures off the internet to get their preference across. They

I've to thank especially madame Maryem, Gabriel Dery the machguiah and the rest of stuff... I really recommend this restaurant to all jewish people...

Mazagan is a beautiful well maintained property, with courteous staff and good facilities. Sarah Tours are a purely profit focused travel company with no desire to offer any feel good factor to their clients. Rather than make it clear paying 60 euros extra per night would not guarantee a room type, Sarah Tours mislead. Rather than encourage you to speak to the hotel direct they neglect their responsibilities. According to their website... Passover program’s Highlights : Best glatt kosher culinary experience | No kitniyot (some found) Offices with the best Hazanims voices (erm... hmm) Live music entertainment... (well yes, kind of. Live music, but not very entertaining and nothing to get kids excited) Children dinners starting from 6pm (Reheated schnitzel and mash in a box. Not a vegetable in sight and for under 7s only. Kids are quite simply an afterthought). High quality conferences by renowned speakers (this is not actually true) Daily organized chiour of Gemara (I'd rather watch daf reactions on insta) Great evening of Mimouna (this was about as good as it got. A fun evening, when Sarah Tours hope you forget the previous eight days of same same) Private rooms on request for seder (well the semi-private seder was just a load of bunched up tables in the breakfast room with NO partitioning) Excursions (true) Sarah Tours organises a pesach kosher hotel (with some dubious items that werent actually kosher for passover). It is not a passover program per se. At no point will anyone from Sarah Tours approach your table, say hi or bye or make sure you and your family are having a good time. Your kids won't see an ice cream all week. Nothing in your room or by the pool. It's actually quite bizarre, perhaps best summed up by the selection of wines which are tasteless, cheap bottles that you never want to see again. shukran
