What a beautiful afternoon. Magical place fantastic staff. If you speak English, ask for Matthew to be your guide. Thought I'd lost my wallet. All the staff tried to help me find it. How embarrassing when I found it in my trouser leg pocket!!! They also have a snack bar in a beautiful setting on site.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon in this lovely environment! We wanted Tobaken a day away from the beach (yes, this is possible when it’s to hot 😉😅) We wanted to slow down and enjoy nature so we decided to rent a boot and paddle. They offer one to four tours that last anywhere between 1-4 hours. Don’t worry. You can’t get lost. They lovingly marked all the routes in various colors. Everything here is done with a loving eye for detail! What a great place. And afterwards, they had nice drinks and homemade cookies 🍪 😋😎🛶. What a lovely place 👏👏👏

A great place for a family canoe / kayak. Felt like entering a mangrove swamp, with lots of overhanging branches, overgrown tributories with twists and turns in the route, so you felt you were in the middle of nowhere. Well signposted with the various routes and times they would take. Very different to the equally lovely kayak adventures we've had in France on quicker flowing rivers where even if you didn't paddle you'd eventually reach your destination.

Amazing visit! Calm and relaxing, even surreal to be immersed in so much green :) The guide is friendly and has plenty of details regarding the history of this unique man made ecosystem. Highly recommended!

We booked a 1,5 hour guided tour through the swamps. It was a very interesting and relaxing experience. Our guide told us everything about the area and the plants and animals that live there (we also saw some nutrias). The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. At the pier there's a free parking lot. If you come in the afternoon, it might be full. In that case there's also a small parking lot in the middle of the village, not far from the pier. We didn't book before going there as we weren't sure whether we could do a guided tour in English. Since it wasn't in the high season, it was still possible to get a tour in English for the same day, but I suggest booking beforehand. Our guide spoke English very well, no problems with that. We also took our small dog to the boat trip with us. A bigger dog might not fit between the seats. If you step out of the boat in sunny weather, watch out for the metal step. We weren't quick enough and our dog burnt his paw a little. There's also a restaurant and a toilet available at the pier. All in all well managed and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed it very much!

We had a wonderful boat trip with these guys. The chap we booked with made some changes so that we could have an English-speaking guide at a time that suited us. It was beautifully quiet the morning of our trip. Our guide, Mathieu, was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The canals are simply stunning. Our dog enjoyed the ride immensely!

Wonderful place to rent a boat with a beautiful leisurely easy to follow two hour tour. Very kind staff. Highly recommended.

Great place to hire a boat and explore. Maybe book ahead as very busy at times.
