This restaurant is small and charming, located on a quiet side street away from the main road. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and he spoke English and explained the menu to us in detail, which made us feel very comfortable. We enjoyed the wine and several dishes, especially the cauliflower appetizer and the fish main dish, which were beautifully presented and tasty. Unfortunately, the clams didn’t turn out as expected, as some of them didn’t open, so we couldn’t fully enjoy that dish. It was a little disappointing, as everything else about the experience was very pleasant. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely, and it was still a nice dining experience in Paris.

Quality, presentation, flavors, and venue are all spot on. The chef/owner/one man crew is creating outstanding food. Natural wines to enjoy with a locally sourced menu. Highly recommend a reservation.

Nicely situated on the artistic street of Belleville, this cozy spot offers well-presented, seasonal dishes. The food is both flavorful and a great value for money 👌. The wine selection is solid, and there’s a pleasant outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your meal and drinks.

A gem. Attentive service with great wine suggestions. I don't speak French and that wasn't a problem. About the dishes, a separate chapter. Fresh oysters with a delicious sauce and the best tuna I've ever had in my life. Oh, and the street where it's located is incredible, worth the trip. Thanks for the experience

Off the beaten path recommendation from some friends who frequent Paris and this place hit the mark! It’s a small restaurant / wine bar with a cozy but minimalist interior that makes for a warm ambience. Our service was incredible. We don’t speak French but that did not stop the servers and even other patrons from helping us choose our meals which were absolutely delicious. We had some delicious natural wine chosen for us and overall had an amazing evening at Le Pinceau. Definitely a hidden gem that is doing all the right things and it seems they want to keep it that way!!

Unforgettable experience. Great gourmet cuisine for a very reasonable price. Special mention for the sea bream carpaccio and homemade hare pâté! The cook is available and speaks english fluently. Sober and friendly atmosphere. We enjoy very much !

Absolutely stunning food and wine! We were recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint, our favourite meal in Paris, poached oysters and Pollock were incredible. Service was lovely too and v.accomadating to our poor french. Will be recommending and coming back next time we're in Paris. Quality of food very good for the price and impressive wine knowledge/recommendations from staff.

Oh my god! What an amazing place! The food was out of this world, both starter and the main course! The owner has been the sweetest person. He’s also flexible with special wishes. Finally, wine pairing was absolutely perfect. I wish I lived in Paris. I’d come here all the time! Totally recommended!
