Fluid procedure, you can see that they have a routine. Although they dont really help with signs where to park with your car before boarding. The ferry itself is spacious, comfortable and feels safe, the view from both decks is just fantastic. You can buy tickets online and it is recommended to do so.

Horrible. Cramming too many cars together and yelling at the drivers for not moving. There less than 10 cm between cars, can't even enter the car! Even for Italians it was incompetent

Bring your own food. Stale panini but not as bad as the cafe customer service & the 1 minute attempt to heat it up. You need some young friendly efficient staff not 2 grumpy old men who seem to be working under sufferance.

Its a great service. Under an hour and you are on a different island in another country! However, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE 90 MIN before the ferry crossing. The ticket instructions is a LIE and you dont need to arrive any more than 30 min in advance. Nice Italian coffee on the ship!

If you're traveling from Bonifacio, Corsica, to Sardinia and staying in Santa Teresa, or if you're heading to larger cities, check my photos for detailed info. I paid €25 for a seven-minute taxi ride to Mangia's Santa Teresa Sardinia hotel, but later found out there's a bus that costs just €1.50 and stops right in front of the hotel. For trips to Olbia or other cities, there's a service called TurmoTravel that charges €20 to Olbia Airport. Refer to the photo below for more details. When you disembark the ferry, walk straight up the street. It's a bit tough with luggage but only takes about 5 minutes. Look up "Lu Pustali" on Google; this café is located right by all the city's bus stops.

The Moby Ferry to Sardinia leaves from this port. On the Moby ticket they asked me to arrive 90mins before departure, but since they only start boarding 30 minutes before, we actually had to just sit around and wait. 😕 I feel that we could have arrived about 45 minutes before. Make sure to buy tickets online in advance, since this ferry is smaller than the other ones and it sells out quick for vehicles. Have ids ready to show. Be ready to open the trunk for baggage check. The trip to Sardinia was very quick (50mins) and smooth.

An absolute joke of a company! Despite having a ticket booked more than 1 month in advance I couldn't board because the ferry was overbooked. And they haven't even taken into account the booking or the port arrival order. Just chaos and incompetence!

The Bonifacio ferry terminal is the worst I ever was in. On 8th September I had 3 ferry tickets at 21:00 to Sardinia with Ichnusa Lines. The storm came at 18:00 to Bonifacio. The weather was dangerous, the wind and rain were extremely strong, everything was flying in the air. The scheduled ferry at 19:00 with Ichnusa Lines left the terminal in the middle of the storm. At around 19:20 employees of the terminal said no ferries that night (no my ferry at 21:00). People awaiting that ferry including passangers with children, passengers with cars and motorbikes asked politely the staff for the alternatives of getting out of Sardinia. The woman (french terminal employee) said no ferries until Saturday. Passengers were super polite there. They could not believe there was no way to leave Bonifacio, so they were kept asking what they could do. The service woman (terminal employee) started shouting at everybody, shouting "basta", shouting "no english". I managed to find out that the next day it might have been a ferry for passengers on foot. After the woman (terminal employee) brought the security to throw us out from the terminal knowing that the storm is getting stronger and would last over the night and possible of couple of days. The woman and the security did not bother about us passangers and childrens. They closed the terminal at 19:45 and they went home!!!! We stayed outside of the terminal for the storm. The security officer provided the phone number to the Ichnusa Line Captain, but it was incorrect. at 20:10 the storm dissapeared, it was a light wind and a small rain. However no-one came and no-one said anything. We were all night outside the terminal. The employees of Bonifacio Terminal and Ichnusa Line did not provide an accommodation or a safe place to wait for another ferry, no food and no toilet. There was 1 hotel room available for over 400 British Pounds available. The terminal staff said they would not refunded any cost! The Bonifacio Terminal employees we
