Wow! Amazing location in one of Paris' more upscale suburbs. Building is a renovated mansion or some type of big historic building. A massive blue whale skeleton, made out of wood, greets you when you enter. Wait staff is attentive and there is a big team of people helping at every moment. The restaurant is open and airy, with outdoor patio seating. The menu is excellent and the food we had was creative and delicious. I had the boeuf with a potato gratin. This was after an array of fresh appetizers. Others in our party had a flaming spicy chicken dish that we all enjoyed watching when it was placed on the table and lit. Deserts of Pavlova, Creme Brulee, and a Chocolate Fondue were exceptional! Try the Pavlova! Wines are of the highest quality. It was a very enjoyable dinner and relaxing environment. Highly recommended.
really the place to visit should you have time for only one restaurant in the ILE DE LA JATTE. Fantastic, vintage and elegant dining room (i suggest you further decorate and refurbish the table that is reserved for groups by the side of the bar that is overlooking the main dining room with older metallic tubes). We chose to have dinner there also for there was a very enjoyable jazz concert (actually available from thursday til saturday nights dinners). Highly commendable table with very solid culinary experience and no undue pressure for consuming, friendly service, thus all the good ingredients for a successful evening.
Best black truffle pasta I have ever tasted. The sauce was perfectly seasoned and divine! Another plus was the presence of lovely live singers (probably there because of Valentines). Also the dinosaur skeleton as the ceiling centrepiece is a good icebreaker and very unique. The only con was the modern tiramisu that left a lot to be desired.
The food was good, service up to par but the staff kind of kicked us out at 22:00 which was rude after a 3 course meal for a 100+ people corporate’s event.
The best tiramisu of my life ! The staff is sooo friendly and the food delicious. I really like the area this is based too. A sweet town!
Good restaurant with wonderful ambiance, be it lunch meet with colleagues or customers or a quite date night it is a good choice. Good spread of menu with many Vegetarian options (one place for all) Not very expensive but definitely not your daily diner/cafe.
Great food/service, nice ambiance, a little $$$.
Grand restaurant; we were there for Christmas lunch. The decor is nice and it seems that in the summer they retract the roof and it becomes a nice patio. The service was good event though there was only one waiter helping out.. He was a pleasant and professional man. The food was great; we took Cabilleaut (Cod), Coquille St Jacques, Culatello, Truffle pizza and filet de bar. All was excellent and delish honestly. Rare to find Culatello in a restaurant; the slicer was there in the middle of the room and they did a good job with the plate. Otherwise the dessert was also good but we did not get the Paris Brest people talk about. Is it expensive; well considering the inflation and the prices in Paris, it was not that bad (see the picture of the receipt I uploaded).
