Fantastic dog friendly hotel in a great location, the room and staff were excellent.We had probably one of the best meals in the restaurant that we've had for a while. The hotel is about a 15min walk to the beach that has a couple of beach bars, and a good nature walk for dogs. It's not the easiest place to find when coming off the motorway, but its worth it.

Fantastic place, really well located, with good parking space. We ate in the restaurant - delicious, fresh, tasty, nicely presented food. Lovely staff, friendly, efficient and welcoming. Didn't see the bedrooms, but if they follow through from the experience in the restaurant, they must be great too. Would definitely recommend for lunch or evening meals. It was Halloween the day we went and everything was fantastically dressed up for the event, great effort and lovely atmosphere., good job!!

We ate lunch here and we were pleasantly surprised. Although relatively new being just over 1 year old, the place runs smoothly and has a warm and welcoming feel. The food was full of flavour and reasonably priced. It definitely felt like a fine dining experience but still allowed us to bring our 3 year old who could play quietly in a child friendly space inside. We will be back!

Newly built, very clean and reasonably priced hotel. Great for family or budget minded travellers. Staff is friendly, helpful and can speak English. Located between mountain and beaches, allowing easy access to all points of interest. Ample parking in free onsite lot.

We had a great experience at Kaliko. We stopped there for one night with our dog and it was the perfect place to rest and eat very good food! Everyone was very friendly and helpful ☺️

I have stayed there for a couple of hours to work, ordered a couple of drinks and ate Lunch. The ambiance was great and quiet. I was kicked out 30 minutes before closure, which was unexpected. I asked if I could stay 30 minutes longer outside the area but was refused to do so. I asked for an exception twice and was refused as I wasn’t a hotel guest. This is unacceptable and will for sure not come back.

Love this place. I came two days in a row to work remotely, and I will surely return next time i'm in the region. I really felt at home thanks to the music and the ambience of the place. I loved sitting outside by the beautiful river, and to be inside was just as pleasant. The food was fantastic - they nailed the aesthetics and the execution. Plus, the staff were warm and welcoming. What a find. Lovely setting on the river and the most friendly and clean hotel which has just been beautifully refurbished. The food is incredible. It’s locally sourced and fresh every day. A real gem of a place
