Not much to see in Morez this time of year. Stayed one night at this hotel. Friendly staff and an adequate if sparsely decorated bedroom. The place felt like a converted secondary school but it was fine. I would stay here again as it had everything one could need including secure parking and a nice continental breakfast. A nice place to visit during summer season I would think with plenty to do.

A train was suddenly canceled. My family with two children and one baby were stucked in the middle of the snow. The train station didn't even have a place to stay warm. The owner of Hotel akena got our phone and she drove car to pick us up immediately. It was Christmas day. I don't think it was easy for her to do that. She cared my children and confort us who were really desperate. Thank you for saving our trip.

A great little hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Highly recommended. Good value hotel to explore this beautiful area of the Jura.||Très bon, merci bien à vous !

Our train was cancelled suddenly, we have to find one hotel. HOTEL AKENA MOREZ is the solution. Hotel manager was very nice, and came to the train station to pick us. Room is comfortable and the service is really impeccable.

Value for money no frills attached hotel with friendly and helpful owner & staff

Venue pour une nuit. J'ai mal dormi, ce qui explique ma note. Deux raisons a cela : un matelas trop mou, et une isolation phonique avec les autres chambre très mauvaise. Le bâtiment et les chambres auraient besoin d'un coup de rénovation, mais je comprends que ca implique des coûts non négligeables. L'accueil fut excellent. La chambre est propre. Mention spéciale pour les petites attentions disponibles dans la chambre : thé et café qu'on peut se faire soi-même. Une suggestion : pensez a éteindre la TV avant de faire venir les gens. C'est un détail mais ma première impression en ouvrant la chambre fut mauvaise : odeur désagréable et tv allumée qui m'agresse les oreilles (le sons n'était pas fort, rassurez vous). Merci pour l'accueil en tout les cas.

Merci d’être ouvert 🙏. Itinérance vélo sur la GTj et donc pas évident de se loger dans cette ville. Super accueil dans cet hôtel. Possibilité de stocker les vélos (sur demande). Les chambres sont propres, literie confortable. Petit déjeuner simple mais copieux et varié. Bravo à cette famille de tenir l’hôtel.👌
