Absolutely Fabulous While working in Chambery I passed this place a couple of time before venturing in due to the wonderful aromas. All the staff and friendly and helpful. I visited as a non French speaking Englishman. The staffade me feel very welcome and spoke to me in English. Order the set menu for one which in hindsight was a little too ambitious. Wonderful food and presentation and the service was second to none. As I left around 8.30 the place was starting to get really busy but the staff cope very well and are very attentive. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended

Until now in chambery / Aix les bains, this is the best indian restaurant. Trust me one of the authentic desi/ Indian flavours and taste 😋. Mustbtry starters and Juice. My favorite is Lamb briyani and chicken tika. Other items we tried, its also best taste. Finallynend with mango lassi wow its too good.

A wonderful experience tonight, worth coming all the way from Australia for 😀 One of the best Indian meals we've had anywhere, in a lovely setting, and the owner and staff were so welcoming, friendly and generous.

Great food - really delicious veggie curries, bhajis, and garlic naan. Friendly service and reasonable prices. I have gone several times. Great food. Good service. You must insist if you truly want it spicy. Some of the best Indian food I have had in Chambery.

Best Indian restaurant in the area !! Food is amazing (veggie Dahl massala !!) The staff are amazing and so kind ! The takeaway service is so fast ! Definitely recommend all the vegetarian dishes !!🌱⭐️🌸

Chambéry is a gem of a place near Lyon and Le Maharaja is a jewel and a delight for Indian food lovers. The restaurant serves authentic Indian restaurant. The management and the staff of the restaurant is super friendly amd flexible when it comes welcoming the guests. They tend to make their customers feel at home as they accommodate the taste of the dishes based on the preference of the person eating Went their multiple times during a work visit I had in Chambéry. Wishing all the very best to the management and the staff and if I ever return to Chambéry, certainly will have a meal there
