An unforgettable adventure with the Corsica Madness team hiking to the stunning Purcaraccia Waterfalls! With a professional and passionate guide taking care of every detail, all you have to do is enjoy the breathtaking canyons and surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this team — they exceeded all my expectations!" Primož&Tanja

Great experience, we have chosen to do the Pulischellu one. Even if it’s considered the easiest one, it has been super fun and I strongly suggest it. Staff is kind. For Pulischellu consider around 30min walk to arrive ath the starting point, on a medium complex path (btw, there were children 8/10 years old doing that).

Very friendly staff, but unfortunately, not the best news that you can’t explore anywhere off the main roads in this area without a guide—at least in theory. In the comments for many places like water cascades and so on, people mention they just take the risk and ignore this rule. However, the kind lady informed us that we could indeed book a guide, but unfortunately, not for the same day, so we couldn’t make a reservation. The earliest available was for the next day, and the minimum age for children is 7 years old, while we were with our 6-year-old daughter. Apparently, they are very strict about this, so there’s no way around it, and we’ll just have to wait until next time. It’s a bit disappointing, but I still recommend taking the road further north. You’ll definitely find spots where you can at least enter the forest and catch a glimpse of some beautiful water. And if not, by the time you exit the protected area, you’ll easily find some lovely swimming spots along the road, with plenty of people enjoying the water as you head northeast out of the mountain region.

Was close to the camping, so I booked a canyoning tour. Found out I had to drive for my self to the start of the tour (20km down the road) but it was a nice experiance. Nice jumps and slides into the water. Had a group with some kids and there parents, so it was good and fun for young and les young.

The canyoning itself was great, the guide was fun, competent and motivated. We got the flyer at Solenzara and didn't know we have to drive all to Zonza (45min) just to pick up a wetsuit, and then drive all the way back, almost to Solenzara, where the canyoning itself took place. After, we were asked to drive back again to Zonza to drop the wetsuits, but fortunately the guide was motivated enough to take them with his car. They are well-equipped but not really for small kids. Although they advertise for 7+, the access to the site is not suitable for this age, and they won't have any shoes for small children. After all, it was a great experience, but if you're in Solenzara, you may wanna choose a company that is a bit closer. The prices are high (45-55€ for a halfday with no discount for children), considering that the groups are quite big and there is no provision of food, water or anything. The gear is rather old, but the water is wonderful and there is much fun for the whole family.

Canyoning is great – but not so much with Corsica Madness! The one star I have to give is for canyoning itself and for the Canyon de Pulischellu. It was beautiful, yet a bit crowded in early July. Minus one star for: the 1st Corsica Madness guide that ditched my family and me (two kids of 9 and 11) in full gear for an entire hour by the side of road, telling us the 2nd guide would be here in 5min. Minus one star for: the 2nd Corsica Madness guide that finally found her way after being caught in a tour before us which was so closely scheduled that she seems not to make it on a regular basis. Because of that she was very stressed, tense and quite unpleasant for the 1st half of our tour. Minus one star for: the manager at the Corsica Madness camp base in Zonza to whom I complained about the above and who – instead of offering an apology and some sort of compensation for our unpleasant experience – had no sympathy for my situation and told me that HE didn’t want to get upset because of this, and that I had been such a nice person before, and I shouldn’t be upset either. Minus one star for: the fact that I wrote an email to management about this whole story – and never got a response. If it’s that kind of Corsica Madness you looking for – this is your company…

The path is not well marked. Also, it is not suitable for small children. Be prepared for a 40- 50 minutes ( one direction) hike uphill, here and there quite slippery. Do take the time to go to the upper bazens, they are no comparison to the lower ones.
