MALBEC JEAN-LUC

Amazing visit to this outstanding winery. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Mme. Baldez, representing the 6th generation of the family in this land. The location is spectacular combining an architecturally stunning new construction with the original house from 1830. After an introduction by Mme. Baldez, we followed Floriano, our amazing guide, thru the different “terroirs”, where we were explained about the vineyard and what makes this region in France known for their Malbec. Afterwards we visited the wine production area and the caves to finally end our superb visit with a tasting. Absolutely recommend to include Clos Triguedina on your visit to the area.

We dropped in the day before, tried 3 wines we then booked for the tour and 5 wines to taste for the following day as we were staying in the area. Had an informative talk about the vineyard and seeing the cellar. English tour. We tried 1 white, 1 rose, and 3 reds. We also gave the sparkling Rose a try! Bought red and rose bottles! Worth a visit but book as they are busy in summer.

Superb wine and a beautiful place to visit. Very knowledgeable and welcoming host. Very friendly and toys provided to keep children entertained!

Julie made sure we had a really good time, she explained everything very well and took her time. Would recommend this tour to every one, if you can book the tour with nibbles.

Loved the wine tasting just for 5 Euro per person and also little history chat by Thomas our tour guide, also managed to meet the owner Jean Luc who was very friendly.

Amazing wines! Wonderful history surrounding this "clox" involving the regions famous grape Malbec. Very high quality vineyard. Highly recommended.
