Basic hotel (nothing more nothing less). Ideal basic hotel due to it's superb location and nearby parkingfacilities to explore Reims. Feedback for hotel: Bigger towels would be advisable and shower capabilities could be better (more water pressure, warmer water and ability to adjust shower head).
Good location close to supermarket, bakery, Main Street, 8 minutes from train station, although room a bit small but have everything you need, recommend!!
We had no complaints. Our room (203) with Kingsize bed was spacious, very clean, air conditioned and with a good sized ensuite shower room. Breakfast was quite adequate, coffee from machine was good. All in all a good place to stay in the heart of Reims with discounted parking next door. Considering what we paid, it is good value for money when you just need a stopover for a night or two.
I have given 1 star because I can’t give zero ! Our 3 day stay at this hotel with a group of friends was a disaster! The lift was out of order for the whole time we were there and our rooms were on the 3rd and 4th floors ! The bathroom and shower were tiny. No shower gel in the distributor. Small double bed (140cm) with sheets that didn’t even cover the whole mattress. Very nondescript breakfast.|I do not recommend this hotel.
A last minute booking for us, but it was a good choice as it represents very good value for a comfortable stay. There is a paid - for semi-secure multi-storey car park right next door literally to the hotel (€16 for about 15 hour overnight stay as of March 2023), although not 24-hr staffing, it does have CCTV. |About ten minutes walk into town, a couple more to the Cathedral. |Very efficient and polite Reception. Hotel style and rooms quite boutique-y with unusual large modern artworks everywhere including in room. Very modern/new bathroom - not much room to put anything, but fine for one night. Comfortable bed and room pretty quiet considering it’s on a road - some light traffic noise, but not too intrusive. Teeny tiny lift/elevator to rooms, so be prepared to do a couple of journeys if you have a lot of luggage! |Breakfast just about adequate for the price, which I think was €10 each - some different mini cheeses and good coffee from machine, but the jams (configures) were in an impossible to use thing, so it was easier to take the squeezy jars out and do it manually. |All in all - a great option for a single or 2 night’s stay, particularly with the convenience of the car park right next door and easy/quick walking access to the town centre. Hotel was clean and appeared well-maintained.
Our small room at the 2nd floor with window to the backyard wasn't immaculately clean and some equipment in the black painted bathroom would require some maintenance as well as the malfunctioning inner door of the small lift. But the room was nicely decorated, quiet and quite cool despite 35C outside temperature. The room is equipped with the kettle and tea/coffee facility. The location is perfect at the edge of the pedestrian zone, with lots of restaurants around the corner, close to the cathedral. Nearby parking garage costs 16€ per day.|Good value for the price, we'd come back.
The hotel rooms are very small so be careful (the room pictures are purposefully taken to make the rooms look big). There is absolutely no air conditioning nor even stand fans so the rooms get hot in the summer as they are carpeted. The carpet needs replacement. Finally, the property does not own a single iron or ironing board so good luck trying to iron your clothes. No laundry either. There is a tiny desk in the room incase you need to work.||The breakfast is fine.
Excellent location - 10 minutes to station & trams, few moments to restaurants, cafes etc. Hotel small but tidy, quirky, clean - art in rooms. Quiet at night, on 4th floor. Breakfasts fine. Staff helpful.|Minor issues only - ran out of apricot jam (in France); milk powder in coffee machine had chocolate mixed in - so cafe au lait etc were mocha style.|Some reviews are really critical - but try some French, smile, remember the price.|Thoroughly recommended for a few days in a very interesting city.
