A truly fantastic place, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Dijon. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect spot to fully enjoy a special wine experience. A special mention goes to the sommelier, Theo, who is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He has an impressive ability to understand your tastes after just a short conversation and always manages to select the perfect wine for you. His passion, expertise, and attention to detail genuinely elevate the entire experience. All it takes is a quick chat with him, and he will effortlessly guide you toward the best choice, ensuring you enjoy every single moment. A place I would highly recommend to anyone who truly appreciates wine.
Traveller from Toronto. I wanted to highlight Theo the wine merchant at the shop. He is very knowledgeable with the wines of burgundy and able to guide me with purchasing a bottle to bring back home. Communicated mainly in English (because I am very limited with the French language). Overall excellent! Would recommend any travellers or locals to visit the shop and say hello to Theo!
We went summer 2025 for lunch and to select some quality wine on the way to our vacation in France. The wine and service was so good that at Christmas 2025 on the way to the Alps we stopped again in Dijon and went along to Cave Vauban for some decent wines - I simply asked for help, I know what I like and every time they can focus in on a great wine that feels special. Visiting Cave Vauban on our travels around France may just become the new normal…thanks it was as good as you said it would be.
My favorite place in Dijon! I came here almost every evening over the past two weeks — that’s how much I loved it. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service: the team is always incredibly kind and attentive. The wine selection is impressive, with several cuvées available from each domaine, and the prices are very fair. A must-visit spot for wine lovers in Dijon!
great place to enjoy fine wine and gourmet dining. we shared a burrata and falafel, next had a vitello tonnato and dessert. true its not the typical southern french generous dining, but we switched quantity for quality and had more than plenty! we will surely return ♥️
Food was excellent but the wine pours were 3oz a glass so no where near what the normal glass size is plus the white wines were warm and they had no whites that were cold. We were also expecting better service & products. The waiter was found inside sitting with friends talking after we were waiting a while to find where he was. *Edited to add the receipt to prove we in fact did go to the restaurant and my review stands. Owner should listen more carefully to its customers.
Awful. Very slow service. Tiny servings of wine, expensive and poor quality wine. It looks good but don't be fooled! 45mins to serve 3 glasses of wine and food never arrived. Avoid!
Great location but they don’t have enough staff. The poor waiter was overwhelmed. Had to search him out.
