Superb hotel in the heart of Provence set in a picturesque village near Aix en Provence. Comfortable rooms, gastronomic cuisine, impeccable service. Very friendly and helpful owners and personnel. Large parking area, lovely terrace in the front garden for outside meals. Ideal for pet-lovers as the owners have several rescue cats roaming freely on the hotel grounds as well as a couple of dogs. Only downside: the lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the bedrooms.

Very pleasant evening in the charming Auberge Bourrelly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining room is beautiful and the terrace is just lovely to relax in. Our bedroom and bathroom were really nice with a a very large and comfortable bed.

Beautiful understated decor. No AC which was an issue the very hot night we went. The food was dreadful. I had a very weird first course consisting of a tarte Tatin topped with cold calamari and canned tuna fish. My duck tasted okay but had obviously been cooked in advance and reheated. Other people’s dishes were similarly hit or miss. Over all, very disappointing.

Great and authentic food for a good price! Good wine menu. Had to wait a bit long for the starter, but then it went quickly and with professional service.

Love this place! Food is great, lovely old French house feel and a cat that likes to wander round saying hello!!
