SOLLETTY AGENCEMENT

A delightful French restaurant with a picturesque view, offering a delectable dining experience. The ravioli with porcini and goat cheese salad were highlights of our meal, bursting with incredible flavors and freshness. The hamburger was hands down the best we've ever had, cooked to perfection and served with mouth-watering accompaniments. Don't miss out on this gem if you're in the vicinity. Highly recommended! We had a lovely time here. Rolled in as part of a bike tour through France. The host was really helpful and allowed us to store our bikes securely. Room was nice with a nice shower. Location absolutely stunning but the star of the show was the food. The Crostade de Chateau was absolutely delicious as a sharer. Would highly recommend.

We had a beautiful lunch on the terrace of Le Chateau. The rosé wine was crisp and lovely, the service was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding. Best of all, the setting was magnifique! The village of Chateaudouble is authentic and charming - definitely worth your time to stroll the narrow streets of this hilltop village.

We had a fabulous lunch here on a very hot day. Great food and excellent service. Highly recomended

UPDATE: They kindly found and kept my sunglasses for pickup. **Just left my sunglasses there. Pls can you hold them and I come back next few days*. Great panoramic view of the valley. We walked there and had much needed cold Draught beer. Opening hours on Google are correct.

Complete disaster unfortunately! We came for lunch on a Sunday but had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes before being able to order food. We ordered the lunch menu with starter and main course and the starters were served after approximately two hours. Thankfully the starters of Camembert were well made. About three hours after our arrival we were finally served the main course. The salmon unfortunately was overcooked and served with fries and not worth the three hour wait. In total our lunch lasted for about three and a half hours. During this time we had to constantly remind the servers about our orders and at one point we had to clean our own plates because the table was full. Not once were we offered an apology or even a complimentary cup of coffee. Needless to say we were all stunned by the experience.

What a shame; incredible location and views from the table set within a lovely village. However the food was inedible; salmon clearly defrosted and still frozen in the middle, tough duck, badly cooked burger cold in the middle. The polite and courteous staff could not save this culinary mess.

Not so nice experience... We wanted to have lunch - waited about 15 min to set an order and 1 hour more to get the food One employee cannot handle so many people...no way And at the end, the food was not something to wait for... We really expected more from this one
