Had an amazing experience! I was looking forward to my trip to Firminy, especially the guided tour of the Housing Unit. Unfortunately, the tickets on the website were sold out, but after emailing the staff they made it possible for me and my friend to have the tour, which turned out to be amazing. The guide made sure to include us (non-French) in the tour and translated most of the important information. Everyone was really nice and helpful, I can’t imagine having a better experience. Thank you so much ❤️
If visiting these buildings I strongly recommend to take guided tour. It provides great understanding of the circumstances when the buildings were made and also a lot of interesting details in them.
Excellent experience. The documentary video is highly recommended albeit only in French.
Unfortunately, the site was closed. This wasn't mentioned on the website which made my trip back to Lyon long and sad.
Ugly buildings, it's unbelievable that UNESCO was involved in this neighborhood
