The local town is almost unknown in Prague. I wouldn't have thought of going on holiday here, but I used AI to plan and Sète was recommended. After further research, we liked the suggestion and when looking for a hotel, we chose this one, mainly because of its location directly opposite the beach, but also because of its favorable reviews and affordable prices. Upon arrival, we were immediately charmed by the hotel. For one thing, the ladies at the front desk are friendly and welcoming, but our room with the terrace and capsule coffee maker was absolutely great. Spacious with a fantastic shower and a comfortable, large bed. The air conditioning was handy too. We spent just under a week here and were totally satisfied. We fully recommend a stay here.
We returned after 4 years for 7 nights. What a transformation. The Hotel has had a makeover since 2018. This is a family run hotel. We wanted to drop our car and leave it for two days so we could go on to Nice on the train before returning for a week long relax by the sea. The Owners pulled out all the stops to make this happen. All the Staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, bright with air-conditioning, a safe in the bedroom and complimentary drinks in the fridge in the room. The breakfast is nice, yoghurts, nuts, fruit, fresh bread, pastries, cheeses and meats. While the selection is not huge it is perfectly lovely.
was in town for a conference and initially booked a standard room for two nights. I then upgraded to the Terrasse Room with a sea view for one night. It’s a bit of a pity because the original plan was to stay two more nights in the higher-category room, but it was fully booked, so I had to shorten the trip. The rooms were great. I had a corner room in the standard category—well-equipped, nothing overly fancy, but far better than what you’d expect from a typical 2-star hotel. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile and happy to help with anything we needed. The only minor downside was that the floor felt a bit dusty—I expected it to be cleaner, though that might just be us having high standards. Overall, no complaints at all about the hotel, the staff, or the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
Absolutely delightful. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, marvelous staff. Wish we could have stayed longer but just needed an overnight stay.
We stayed for a week in a superior double with sea view and balcony. To be honest we did not want to leave! The couple who run the hotel make it so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily, with precision. We have stayed in four star hotels all over Europe but never been made to feel as welcome and wanted as in this little gem.
This small, friendly hotel is easy to find and ideally located opposite the beach. It is quite some distance (a long walk or short drive) from the town center however there are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.||We had two rooms for three nights, our teenage daughters shared one of the rooms at the back which was perfectly adequate, it was cheaper but lacking the sea view and balcony of the room my wife and I shared at the front. ||The rooms were quite small, particularly the bath/shower rooms but they were well presented and cleaned daily with the beds being remade with fresh linen. ||Parking behind the hotel is very limited and fairly tricky to use particularly if you are driving an unfamiliar hire car but there is a large parking area opposite which is free from 7pm-9am.||Unfortunately the WiFi wasn't working due to a router problem. I saw a note on reception pointing this out when we left but no mention of it when we arrived. Hopefully it is a short term problem and is now fixed. The other major problem was the bad smell of sewage in the room, this wasn't present all the time but when it was it was quite unpleasant, having the door to the balcony open helped. Our daughters' room at the back didn't have this problem. I didn't mention it to the management (reception is empty and you have to ring for service) as we were only there for a short time but had we been longer I would have had to say something. This has been mentioned in other reviews and it must be something they are aware of and it really needs to be looked at.||I would have given this a 3 star review due to the WiFi and smell problems however a star was salvaged by the breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach which was great, fresh croissants, orange juice, yogurt, fruit and nuts and enough coffee for 2 decent cups each. Very good value at 8 Euros a head.||I would certainly recommend for a short stay, provided they sort the smell out.
We stayed in the hotel for 14 days. It's a little gem - tastefully decorated with attention to details, clean, superb service by Camille and the team, good breakfast and lot of extra little touches that made our stay really enjoyable. For my work I've stayed in many 4 star hotels all over the world and can definitely tell - this hotel has a special vibe.
We were here 5 nights in June 2022, returning after discovering the hotel (and town) in 2021. We are a couple travelling with one child. The hotel is really great! Best thing first: the staff and owners. Very friendly, very laid back, and really trying to help. Next best thing is the breakfast buffet. Small but perfectly formed. It actually allows a surprising number of options out of a simple looking set-up. We really like the design of the rooms/hotel. Done with some care and attention. And things work. We get a family room at the back of the hotel. so no sea view, but a nice terrace looking over Mont St Clair. The hotel is sited right at the beginning of the main beach that goes up to Marseillan. It's a perfect spot for the beach, and is right in between the two main sites of the Worldwide Festival. It's also easy to arrive at by car. I echo another review that mentions the parking. The free parking in the back of the hotel seems fairly tight to get in or out, but there is also a large car park right in front of the hotel. We paid €30 for a one week ticket. This was a real discovery for us in Covid lockdown (2021), and we loved being able to go back this June. It's a great base for exploring this lovely part of the world.
