Great service! Popped in for a drink, and really enjoyed it. The guy who served us was great. We had the nachos and a few drinks. The nachos were simple but fine. Good drinks menu.

I spend 4-6 weeks in the Vence area every year. Until a week ago, I had never been in Select Bar. Last Tuesday, I had half an hour to kill before a restaurant booking. I popped in for a quick drink. In spite of my better judgement, I ordered a pint of Guinness. Guinness in the south of France is normally on the negative side of poor. Fair enough, they aren't stout drinkers. But, I was very pleasantly surprised. Grogan's or Mulligan's it ain't. It's a different product. But by any objective outside of Ireland standard, it was very, very drinkable. I had a few more pints and was late for the restaurant. I'll be back in Vence in August. There will be several evenings in Select Bar.

A really nice local place to have an aperitif in the late afternoon.
