We have visited this site a fair few times and it had become one of our favourite places. However,Campsite has been taken over by Clico chic. There are now only approx 10 proper ‘camping’ pitches all others are cabins. Even if there are only 2 persons per pitch =10 there are only 2 shared toilets and 2 shared showers. It also appears these will be used by those using the pool and bar/restaurant. We have only been here a few hours but don’t think for one minute we will be back which is so disappointing
Showers require a magnetic wristband to activate and you only get 8 minutes for up to 3 showers a day. Wood or charcoal barbecue are prohibited. 5G works well around the site. Pitches are very close to each other as you expect. Facilities are reasonably well kept with good outdoor activities available such as table tennis, volleyball and a 40km cycling route next to it. Nearest bus stop is 600m away from the site. €15 per day for our dog to stay with us.
We tried to stop on a couple of campsites on Lake Annecy with our motorhome. The first was just a 15 minute walk into Annecy but was full. The second was on the lakefront but was in somebody;s front garden, on quite a slope and with dated facilities. We consulted our ACSI book of cheap off-season campsites and found Camping De L'Aloua. We rang the site and was told they had space available, so we made our way there.|Checking in was smooth and we quickly found ourselves on a pitch with plenty of space for our motorhome. The campsite is a mixture of tents, motorhomes, caravans and wooden chalets. The toilet and shower block was clean, and next to the block was a swimming pool, supposedly heated but check first, with sunbeds. All this plus electric hook-up for just 71 euros for 3 nights. A 2 minute walk to the right of the campsite is a small beach on the lake, and running alongside that is a cycle track going all the way to Annecy. A 5 minute walk to the left of the campsite is the main road to Annecy, the bus stop and a large Carrefours supermarket. The buses to Annecy run every 20 minutes and the bus fare is just 2 euros. On Saturday the buses ran for nothing.|A great site for visiting Annecy that I would not hesitate to use again.
Lovely shady campsite, we luckily got a pitch on the end of a row overlooking a grassy area with views of the mountains. Facilities were clean enough toilets and a showers. Food and drink available on site. Not too far from the lake and we walked towing a hired kayak. Great also for cycling along the lake cycle path. Free bus into Annecy during July and August was also good.
A great location about 10km from Annecy center, good toilet and shower facilities and friendly staff. About 250m from lake access so great for anyone wanting a swim, paddle board etc. They rent out bikes, paddle boards and kayaks at the campsite which is also very useful and well priced. ||The campsite is also only about 100m from the cycle path with access to Annecy, which was a great way to avoid the busy traffic in town. ||I have stayed here with friends a few times over the last year and have loved it. All pitches are a good size 7m x 7m so lots of space for a tent/car/caravan and it’s well organised. ||Really looking forward to staying again in a few weeks!
Loved it here, close to lake. Easy, flat pitches. Plenty of space. Not too many showers so often had to wait. Hot water. Lovely walks. Cycling good in area. Good bus service into town. Dogs welcome at camp and on buses.
This is a very good campsite with a cycle path running past giving easy access to Annecy along the lake. The receptionist, Amel, was very friendly and efficient. Good sized pitch with water close to us. The sanitary block is rather tired and could do with some squeegees for the showers as the floors were rather messy.
Nice pitch near the sports field.Friendly and helpful staff.Lovely pool with sunbeds.Ok shower block, clean & the wrist tags for using the hot water in the shower were ok for us.(8 mins 3 times a day)Hired a e-bike which needed maintainence as breaks were awful.I did mention when picking it up but was just smiled at. Ext a a great cycle path that led into Annecy.Flat and quite busy.Nearby supermarkets and petrol station and a couple of restaurants.
