For months we’ve seen a troubling pattern at eelm top-performing students are receiving low grades without clear explanations, and faculty consistently refuse to provide rubrics, feedback, or appeals information. That’s not just frustrating — it’s unacceptable. If your child has experienced unexplained grading, missing feedback, or a blocked appeal process, document the dates, assignment names, screenshots and emails now. Ask the department chair for the rubric and a written explanation of the grade within 7 days. If the college refuses, escalate to the dean and the student conduct/academic appeals office. Transparency, fairness, and clear criteria are basic educational standards. We will hold the college to them. Parents: demand full disclosure of grading criteria and a clear appeals timeline before you commit your child’s future to this institution.

Had a bad experience with EELM. I just applied to the school to have a place for my trilingual 5 year old and they didn't read the application letter, did not give a place and would not clarify any details about the selection process. Secretary very rude and unhelpful on the phone. When I emailed, they didn't answer my questions and when I rang, they told me to email! They don't provide any statistics about who is applying and who has got a place, how many spaces are left, even though I have heard that there has been places for a long time in my (would have been) son's class. So I think it is a selective 'who you know' process rather than a fair one as is marketed. I felt that it was a waste of time applying. Update in 2025: This post has had a massive amount of views. Thanks for reading. I would like to add that I applied for the French side as no French at home but in my letter, I said that we would have been open to the English side too. I would like to reassure other parents that 2 years on, my son is in a French school, he’s happy and he’s reading in English with me at 7 years old.

Apres avoir essayé le public classique pour démarrer ( très bien) , le privé international bilingue ( moins bien), l'EELM est la 3 ieme école que fréquentent nos enfants depuis notre retour d'expatriation. Superbe école qui fait ce qu'elle dit en mettant l'enfant au cœur du projet, en leur donnant confiance en eux, en évitant la compétition et en leur permettant de s'épanouir en dehors de l'école. Nous avons donc trouvé une école adaptée à nos enfants et notre rythme de vie car c'est bien cela l'objectif. Une Ecole aura beau être la meilleure du monde elle peut ne pas être adaptée à vos enfants et à leur projet de vie et c'est bien cela la bonne question à se poser. Bravo à toute l'équipe de l'EELM: Les profs tout d'abord qui sont positifs, à l'écoute, ont de l'énergie, forment une vraie équipe pédagogique ( c'est rare), veulent faire changer le système et surtout veulent faire réussir nos enfants. Et l'équipe administrative / de direction toujours la pour nous rendre service, nous suivre avec un très grand professionnalisme et beaucoup de simplicité. Vous avez peut être l'impression de faire juste votre métier mais je peux vous dire que vous le faite très bien. Merci pour nos enfants.

Très bonne école je suis contente que mon petit-fils y aille, sa grande sœur va le rejoindre mais au collège !!!
