Avis
Lovely village with a view from a height & the restaurant was really nice - friendly service, delicious food. I'm Australian & I visited here with 2 Spanish friends as we were staying nearby, we enjoyed the evening thoroughly!
Came here on the recommendation of out B&B host, who assured of the quality of the establishment. The best I can say - the very best - is that it is ordinary. And in a city like Bordeaux ordinary just doesn’t cut it. I ordered octopus and was served calamari. I ordered the skirt steak and it was literally uncuttable: they don’t know how to prepare it. Salad well past its expiration date. 75 Euro wine bottle totally undeserving of its price. I don’t want to slam the place but I would rather go to a burger joint than eat here again. More reasonable price/quality ratio at least.
English speaking and wonderful food. They recommended a wine from their hotels grapes and it was perfect for the meal.
Great service, good wine and good food.
Arrived at 8pm on a Tuesday, the restaurant was practically empty. We wanted to order just a bottle of wine, sit outside and enjoy the nice village. We were told the restaurant is only for guests who order food. So we left and went across the road to the pizzeria. There we were served a very nice bottle of dry white wine and a couple of rounds of beer. Glancing across the road back to the restaurant that dismissed us, it stayed empty for the rest of the night. I wonder why...
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this cafe/bistro. We ordered lamp cutlets which were of a very poor standard and had to send them back. This is a popular bistro but for us the food needs to be greatly improved.
Very good experience
Tasty food, casual atmosphere, friendly service and good variety in the menu. The starter and dessert buffets are winners.
