PARC ETOILES

This place is a really nice place to spot plane both departing from Lyon and arriving to Lyon, this place is on a small hill meaning that the airport fence is not in your way. There is plenty of space to park your car, there are a few trees and two wooden tables if you want to have a picnic although there are no toilets. This is also a really nice place if you want to wait for somebody’s flight to arrive as it is only a short drive to the airport. There is a small dirt path leading to the airport, it is nice if you want to go on a walk but I would not recommend it if you want to drive on it as it is very bumpy and when it rains, it creates big puddles.

A beautiful plane spotting place. It has a clear view to runway. Also, it is well organized with the seating areas.

Could be a place where to enjoy a meal in good weather before dropping someone at the TGV or the airport. Some picnic tables are available

Super spot

Super spot pour observer les oiseaux de fer, seul ou avec des enfants. Il y a des tables avec des bancs mais malheureusement le lieu n'est pas assez entretenu. Il faudrait venir tondre régulièrement et refaire la route qui y mène car elle est remplie de nid de poules. Attention à vos pare-brises!

Superbe spot pour tout amateur de photographie et d'avions ! ✈️ Croyez-moi, petits et grands seront conquis. L'emplacement se situe juste à côté de la piste et du taxiway pour observer les avions, décollage et atterrissage ! Table de pique-nique disponible et endroits ombragés Seul bémol, la route est un chemin avec nids de poule, il ne faut pas rouler vite !
