Great ski area. Great village. Lots of green and blue runs, make it good for all. Will definitely return 👍 Pic from hotel balcony, by the stage finish of Le Tour 👌

Alpe d’Huez is often talked about, but honestly I still feel like it’s one of the most underrated ski resorts in the Alps. The slopes are incredible — long, varied, and perfect whether you’re skiing for fun, improving your technique, or just enjoying the mountains. What I loved most is how much it works for everyone. Families, beginners, experienced skiers, groups of friends — there’s really something for everybody. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed, and the views while skiing are just stunning. A special shoutout to the ESF coaches who are truly beyond amazing. Their level of teaching, patience, and encouragement makes such a difference. Even if you just need a bit of support or want to gain confidence on the slopes, I would recommend them to anyone. All in all, Alpe d’Huez is an absolute gem. Amazing slopes, great energy, and unforgettable skiing. Already looking forward to going back!

Absolutely awesome resort with runs for every level especially at the bottom so great for beginners. Lifts in great condition and lots of fun villages to go for food and drinks in for apres. Another great alps snow resort.

We weren't on a ski vacation. We just wanted to go up just to see the view but there was strong wind going so it wasn't recommended to go up. We just walked around the area instead. Plenty of shops for skiers and restaurants.

It is a winter sports resort in the Alps ( Northern Alps) located on the former alpine pastures of the village of Huez in Isère , 59 km from Grenoble . It is part of the Grandes Rousses massif (3,465 m) , an alpine massif located mainly in Isère and Savoie, above the Oisans . They have 69 lifts and 3 cable cars, from 1850 m to 3350 m. With 250 km of slopes it is one of the biggest ski area in the alps.

Welcome to alpe d'huez where snow cannons exist only for design aspects (-7 degrees in the village tonight and no snow cannons running--> must be all broken). If you want to get rid of the base and edges of your skis you should totally go there. Sometimes theres even some snow between the stones😂. I genuinely dont understand how resorts in italy and austria dont have a single stone on the slopes while only receiving 20 percent of the snow this winter in contrary to alpe dhuez. While in alpe d'huez the slopes are maintained so bad. Its crazy.

Really nice, a lot of snow, skiing is amazing here!

The area has grown over the past year, so many more chalets and apartments being built. But this doesn’t spoil the outlook at all. Still absolutely stunning . Breathtaking views and lovely walks ❤️
