The restaurant had friendly attentive waiting staff,we had no reservation but was accomodated regardless.Our waiter spoke in English as our french wasn’t as fluent and was very helpful explaining any menu queries. The steak came nice and hot and cooked to perfection with a tasty salad and mash potatoes,the mixed Irish dessert’s were equally amazing with so much flavour that tingled the taste buds,the Irish coffee is a MUST!

I found this to be a welcoming place with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The employees were friendly. The food was alright.

Excellent,well worth visiting.We were sat on the upper floor.The guy there was brilliant..he explained the dishes in detailed english and recommended desserts to die for..so more-ish.A definite return there when next in Lille

Nice bar (I was too early or too late for trying the food). Brilliant Negroni. Good service and nice atmosphere. Nice to enter a bar that still have the sign of Lingerie at the entrance. I guess it was that kind of shop before the alcohol took over

A lovely coffee shop in the Old Town Lille. We were seated right away inside, and the service was fast. There are more seats upstairs. We ordered coffees, but we noticed the food looks good too.

Culinary redemption for Lille. After several poor restaurant visits Morel and Fils restored our faith in French food. Great lunch, all 4 of us enjoyed the food, lively lunch service and friendly waiter who spoke English. And great value as well.
