I approve the visit! As you can tell from my best reviews, nature has always been something that I am into when travelling, and visiting a zoo is always on the list. I believe this was about 16.00€ per person as a visitor. You will be given a map and it takes about 1 hour to through the the zoo. No tour guides. The canopy part made is interesting, there were about 11 or 12 of them. The animals are out in nature, which is something I truly LOVE TO SEE!
BEST zoo experience ever ! Very nicely nested in the natural environment, the wood paths and better yet the wooden suspended bridge allowed us to walk from one place to another very easily, and while enjoying every second of it. Lots of variety, good explanations. One thing I would say, get the enclosure for the panther was too small. I loved the toucan and the red panda.
This Zoo is absolutely stunning. It is beautiful, well taken care of, full of very neat animals and foliage. My husband and I had a great time. Highly recommend if you are visiting Guadeloupe.
Fantastic zoo, beautiful surroundings and the animals have lots of space. The tree top bridges are really fun to walk, it gives a different perspective. One of the best zoos I’ve been to, maybe even my favorite.
I was surprised by how good this zoo was. Amazing combination of nature and human touch. Animals look healthy, quite active, and everything was well set up and clean. Recommend.
Really good zoo, one of the best zoo experiences I've ever had. They have built the entire thing into the actual mountain and forest giving it a complete natural feel. They have a good selection of animals, some i saw for first time ever. Loved the walking paths especially the ones on the trees.
What a wonderful place. The flora and fauna were stunning. So lush. Shame to see animals penned in but for many, they'd never get the chance to see what, for example, a red toed tortoise would look like. The canopy walk was great fun and not too strenuous, just a little wobbly. We had a great time there and would highly recommend a visit.
Absolutely beautiful zoo park with a wide range of animals. If it weren’t a zoo, it would be a botanical garden. Most displayed information is in both French and English; unfortunately, this not so for placards describing the flora. Going early seemed to help us avoid the large groups that make the overhead walkway up in the trees clogged with delays (as only two persons are allowed on each suspended walkway). The gift shop has nice items, but unfortunately we did not see any locally made.
