It has now been over two years since Kaspersky published a report about more than 20 vulnerabilities found in ZKTeco’s Visible Light devices, such as ProFace and SpeedFace. These vulnerabilities are extremely serious — they allow anyone with minimal technical knowledge to gain admin access or bypass the device using a modified QR code via SQL injection. Even something as simple as using a Facebook photo can trick the facial recognition system. Unfortunately, my experience with ZKTeco support has been extremely disappointing. The support team has shown a complete lack of knowledge, competence, and willingness to resolve the issue. For the first two months, we repeatedly tried to explain the problems to them, but without success. It wasn’t until I contacted ZKTeco’s C-level executives directly that I finally received a response. Shortly after, I was offered a discounted upgrade to their supposedly more secure Armatura product line. However, when I asked whether Armatura had similar vulnerabilities, there was complete silence — and all communication stopped. About six months later, ZKTeco finally released new firmware for the Visible Light devices and patched their CVSecurity software. Unfortunately, their support team wasted more than two months trying (and failing) to update our devices. During this process, they completely bricked three units, and when we received them back, they were still running the old, vulnerable firmware. At this point, we had no other option but to write off our investment as a total loss. My honest advice: stay away from ZKTeco products. The support is terrible, their attitude unprofessional, and their understanding of security is alarmingly poor. I honestly wonder how they managed to obtain ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. I am now considering submitting a formal complaint to the relevant ISO certification bodies to request that they review — or even revoke — ZKTeco’s certifications based on my experience.

System works fine . When there's a problem and system not working customer support is not adequate for a 24/7 business. They are always unavailable...Utter nightmare... I do not recommend this company to anyone. I myself am shopping elsewhere.

Do not use this company as customer service is not 24 hours and in emergency there is no one available. over 2 straight days and no one's answers calls or emails

Très mauvaise expérience avec ce fabricant. Après 20 mails d'échange avec le SAV, photos, numéros de séries ... On me dit de renvoyer le lecteur d'empreintes pour mise à jour du software. J'envoies le produit en Espagne à mes frais, après 2 semaines, on me dit que la màj est impossible, on m'invente une histoire de n° de série (je n'ai rien compris) . Je dois payer les frais de retour du matos à mes frais !!!! Les tarifs sont pas chers mais on vois pourquoi...
