Amazing church right by the boat dock. Two entrances--one in the side and one in the back. See pics. Free and very well maintained. Adorable little little gargoyles all over it. Front is being renovated. Thanks for letting us enjoy it.

We took a river cruise and stopped in Vernon along the Seine. It is an adorable and walkable city with bakeries, meat markets, cheese sellers, cafes and gift shops. I even got to practice my French when some of my cruise mates came into a chocolate shop and asked me to help them order!! How fun. The city has a rich history, and it is told silently by the buildings that are a mixture of old and new. The highlight of our trip was a visit to Our Lady in Vernon, called Collégiale Notre Dame in French. The church had an impressive holiday recital for us. A 45 minute recital was given on their impressive antique organ. Highly recommend!

Beautiful church just facing the hotel de ville

Nice 11 th century's collegiate church. Easily accessible. Not so far from the famous Monet's museum (museum of impressionism) in Giverny. To visit absolutely

I didn't expect here but I was wrong. It was worth it to visit :))

Its stained glasses are unique. I hope to visit this place again after renovation.

This building is magnificent! It is so large that it can take the cathedral of Notre Dame in it. It is truly worth a visit of you are in the area.

Great day trip to hit this small town and Monet's house- if your driving. Have a casual snack and get to know the city off the beat'n path. Church needs urgent renovation but spectacular.
