Absolutely wonderful stay. The mini suite was beautiful. The food was fantastic. The supper was one of the best meals I’ve had for a very, very long time. Also very much appreciated that they had an offer for solo travelers. Normally we solar, travelers paid double, but in this place, I felt really appreciated. I would absolutely come back with no hesitation and recommend this hotel to everybody I know who are planning to visit Albi.

Top notch small hotel. A warm welcome, delightful bedroom, excellent restaurant.||The location is perfect, in the exquisite old town, within easy walking distance of the cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum.||Best of all, breakfast! At Alchimy this is NOT one of those ghastly international buffets offered by 99% of hotels, with lukewarm trays of rubbery eggs, flabby bacon and (horror of horrors) baked beans. Breakfast here was a breath of fresh air. We were led to our table which was already laid with a basket of fresh fruit, and another of wonderful fresh bread and croissants, good butter and jam. A pot of delicious home-made yoghurt was also offered, plus juices and coffee/tea. A proper French petit déj - bravo!

I am reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. We had a lovely lunch here. The cuisine and service is refined yet pays homage to local specialities and ingredients. Classic preparations are presented, but with the chef’s own signature. The staff is professional and attentive. The interior space is elegant. One piece of advice to diners - the portions might be a bit larger than we are accustomed to in a Michelin restaurant, especially the desserts. One dessert would suffice for two people. The set menus are an excellent value for money especially during the truffle season. Overall we had a delightful lunch and the restaurant is well-deserving of its Michelin listing.

We stayed in the nicest room we have ever had in France. Spacious, beautiful and highly functional. Hotel staff helped me in advance to choose restaurants, in addition to their own well regarded dining room. We stayed 4 nights which gave us time to explore Albi on foot, spend a day in busier Toulouse, and explore pretty villages, including Cordes sur Ciel. We highly recommend this hotel.

Friday lunch for a birthday treat. Lovely decor, charming and professional staff, really efficient , young team- very impressive. Handled my patchy French when booking, modifying booking and ordering. Food was interesting, regional and delicious. We got excellent value for money and will eat here again.

Very chic hotel right in the historic center of Albi, yet in a quiet square. Ten minutes walk from anything (railway station included). Extremely good restaurant (and bar which they also own, opposite).. Top class professional team.

This was our third stay and we highly recommend it. The rooms are wonderful and the food is delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The location is close to all of the shops and other restaurants.

We had a real nice lunch in the restaurant. Great chef and food, creative menu, lovely ambiance and the staff very friendly and helpful . And what an ambiance. A 'must do' when you are visiting Albi!
