Incredible views from the terrace, free parking, nice rooms and friendly staff. 2 infinity pools and everything is very well decorated. Would highly recommend.

We were on a road trip of Corsica and got to Ajaccio at 6pm. Drove around for a while looking for somewhere to stay and we both didn't care too much for the town - too busy and too touristy. I got on Booking.com and booked a superior double room with a seaview at Hôtel Castel d'Orcino.||Half an hour later we arrived at paradise. Our room overlooked the ocean, the bay and rock pools. The restaurant was open and served excellent food. The sunset was the best one we had seen in over forty years of travelling. The room was beautiful - a really big bed - super king (6ft wide), sockets each side, thoughtful and perfect lighting, a fridge, clean and spacious bathroom with nice toiletries. ||The gentleman who checked us in was really friendly, helpful, spoke great English and made us reservations for dinner which was a bonus as we were late to book and arrive. We had a lovely drink on our balcony before dinner.||The swimming pool was really nice - deeper and shallow one, both with infinity views. A little cool as unheated but beautifully kept and views from the sundeck.||There were a lot of really nice seating areas all over the hotel - on the deck next to the restaurant and sea, by the pool area but also in inner courtyards. The seating was very nice and well thought out. We only noticed the main lobby area/bar area as we left. Very light, airy with lovely furnishing and seating. Also lots of books and games.||Wish we could have stayed longer here (we were on a road trip) as it's a beautiful location.

Beautiful view — but the hotel feels neglected I stayed at Hôtel Castel d’Orcino and was impressed by the stunning sea view and lovely swimming pool area — it’s definitely the highlight of this place. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t live up to the price (€172 per night for a sea-view room): • The room was dark, with only a small window/door for natural light. • The interior felt dated and poorly maintained, lacking the charm and care you’d expect at this rate. • Common areas (like breakfast setup) seemed basic and not very inviting. Overall, it’s worth it if you just want a beautiful location and pool with a great view, but for the cost, the rooms and atmosphere felt disappointing. A bit more care and refurbishment could make this place truly special.

I vote 5 star but reduce by one because pool area is very dirty from birds and not cleaned at all. In the room you find lots of dead and living mosquito's on the walls. See pictures. I hope they change there mind to clean pool area - then i will come back. Thank you.

Amazing place! The pool amenities and lounge area are more than 3 stars! Very relaxing place to rest! The restaurant is nothing special, its ok. The breakfast is royal! Thanks to the very kind receptionist! Great place, i would recommend this place to anyone! In the surrounding area there is not much so u have to have a car! 2-3 days stay is best!

Pros : beautiful pool facing the sea. The sea is made of rocks so not good to swimm but nice spot for snorkeling. Cons : too bad the managers of the hotel are not as polite as the rest of their staff otherwise it would have been ideal. The general manager was literally disrespectful. Moreover when we checked in there was an issue with the shower (fixed the day after that) and we had no wifi in the room for the whole stay (4 nights) which was a bit annoying. Breakfast is good but pricey. So if you're looking for a short stay to enjoy the pool, I would recommend to go there, but if you're looking for an overall great experience I would look for another hotel.

Nice hotel to stay. The pool area is great (the photos with the wooden floor are the most recent ones, the ones with the teracotta tiles are outdated) - would be good to bring water shoes to easier access the sea from the hotel. I didnt have a lot of contact with the hotel staff but they were friendly. Breakfast was good (to be great What I did not like was the lighting outdoors which may be stylish in some sense and functional but too bright and too cold in my opinion. We had a room on the seaside - I could smell the kitchen there in the evening and morning. Also, at the back of the house you could hear the sound of the airconditioning which would disturb me if I was in one of these rooms. Otherwise the place was really nice. Generally I can recommend the hotel.

Wonderful place. Nice surroundings. Comfortable rooms. Very rich and good breakfast. But... Do not have dinner in the restaurant. Or take all the same number of dishes. otherwise the restaurant will adhere to the strictest rules of the etiquette. my friends only took appetizers and I just a main dish. result: I was fasting for an hour and a half and no request to have my entrecote while my friends ate the appetizers took effect. first the starters then the main dishes. they are not moved.
