The little tourist train in Bonifacio is a great way to travel comfortably from the harbor up to the old town. We were a group of five and used the train both to go up and to return to the port later. The train runs approximately every 30 minutes and is perfect for anyone who wants to avoid the rather steep climb to the upper town. Once there, you can stroll through the charming narrow streets, enjoy the spectacular views, and experience the unique atmosphere of Bonifacio. At around €6 per adult for a round trip, the price is very reasonable and well worth it. For families and anyone looking for a convenient way to reach the old town, this is a practical and highly recommended option.

Not possible to get a one way ticket to the old city so 6 euro for one way ticket per person. Extremely unfriendly (not well presented) and think just like other reviews seen here, a money making racket. The city would do better having a navette taking people to and from old city and have options with type of ticket

€6 is fine for the trip. I guess I’ll take a few stars off as they don’t accept credit cards. This is 2025, come on!

Very badly organised with rude and unhelpful staff. Trains often filled by pre booked coach tours. No information on timings or availability.

€6 roundtrip per person from the Bonifacio port to the hilltop old town area. I think it was worth the money, otherwise you’d have to trek all the way up!

Good petit train at reasonable price if you do not want to climb. There is one stop at top where you can disembark, explore and then comeback to any one of next petit train for return to port (frequency roughly 30 min each).
