Amazing views of marseille. Cool concept to have lunch on the top floor (7th floor by elevator). Great service. Mille feuille was spectacular and pasta Arabiata was great too. Too bad the osso-buco was not cooked long enough and was not fall off the bone.

A beautiful rooftop restaurant with incredible views of Marseille. Cocktails were delicious and strong. Service was wonderful. The only hiccup is my food (the asparagus risotto) was a little bland.

Simply perfect! We had a great evening here, we hope we can return, the pasta, octopus, carpaccio, olives, cheese and pizza were very good. Service was outstanding.

solid 8.5/10 place, food is really good the portions are perfect and the price is very reasonable. the view is amazing that’s what we really came for, it was windy and one of our drinks blew away but they didn’t charge us for another one which was nice and unexpected. definitely make a reservation at least 1 week prior or as early as you can. definitely, one of the best rooftop spots i’ve been to, they don’t overcharge you for the view. it’s a vibe, i recommend. 😇 also, i would say book for sunset around 7/7:30pm.

Ciel was nothing short of incredible! First of all, the food was some of the best we’ve had on our trip, and we spent 4 nights in Paris prior to coming to Ciel! For an appetizer, we got the polenta fries in red sauce. Luscious sauce! For entrees, I got the chicken and mashed potatoes, and my wife got the pesto burrata pasta. Both were so flavorful and rich! The chicken could have stood on its own it was so good, but smothered in creamy mashed potatoes, it was even more incredible. The few bites of pesto pasta I had tasted like it was house-made pesto, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. For dessert we got tiramisu, which our waiter swore was “very small”. It was not very small, but it was the best tiramisu we’ve ever had, so we weren’t mad! (Did not get a photo, it was gone so quickly) For drinks my wife got wine and I got the Mandarin Smash, which was a tasty and interesting combo of citrus and mint. Very good! The service was attentive, punctual, and friendly. Our waiter (never got his name) was fun and helpful, and did not seem bothered by our ignorance to the French language. The atmosphere was beautiful, looking over the Marseille skyline. We fortunately got a table right at the edge of the rooftop so we could see everything very well. 5/5 stars, will recommend to anyone traveling to Marseille.

The view is nice, although we weren't blown away like we hoped to be. The food was good, every dish was solid. First one I had was the Il Pollo and it was delicious. The drinks are good too! We went twice while in Marseille.

I was a little disappointed not to be able to eat outside on the rooftop, but made so with enjoying a lovely glass of wine outside. My pizza - San Daniele - was delicious but completely defeated me. It upset me to waste a lot if it. I was offered a doggy bag, but as a visitor to Marseille, I didn't really want to take it back to my hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Thank you Merci a tous Lyn

Very nice view over Marseille and really good and polite service. Unfortunately, I cannot review the food, because we didn’t try it. But it appeared quite delicious… (Update 01.06.2026) Dear Ciel Team. many thanks for your reply/reaction! I'm already looking forward to visiting again.
