I do like this site. It is a 5 min walk to Vias where the farinette Boulangerie is the best for coffee , treats , pastries and bread plus all the usual Main Street attractions. It’s also a short stroll to the great Plage du Clôt which is a fantastic sandy beach beautiful for swimming with water sports nearby . The site restaurant is fine offering the usual fare and the shop also provides all you need with an excellent independent butcher providing plenty of tasty variety. Be careful with your choices as a lot of the Mobils on offer are actually privately owned ( and the owners paraphernalia can be off putting) and rented through the site potentially off putting for those expecting to arrive to a nondescript generic version. The pool is a lovely area but unfortunately always too crowded. I’ve always chosen VignesB area as this is generally quieter and more spacious.

Great site. Really quiet and peaceful in April. Beautiful pool area with large swimming pools and slides and nice area to sit. Good facilities and close to some good beaches and things to explore. The staff at this site were so helpful and friendly and really helped to make the holiday perfect.

This was my fourth time at La Carabasse throughout my life. I first came as a kid, then again as a teenager and then most recently as a young adult in 2011. It had always been a great campsite with certain base level expectations that you could rely upon: The mobile homes would be clean and spacious with a decent sized terrasse and garden area, English would be widely spoken and understood within the park as they market themselves in the UK and Ireland and that the people working there for the season would be polite and friendly with the campers.||||I suppose the first thing to address is that in the intervening years Siblu's business model has fundamentally changed. You are no longer renting a mobile home from them; you are renting it from a private individual and they are acting as a broker. It's basically an Air BnB type arrangement now. This is not made clear at the point of booking and you are effectively being mis-sold a holiday on their website. We arrived to find umpteen cupboards and storage areas with padlocks on them in the mobile home containing someone else's stuff. This meant we were losing precious space to the clutter of a third party. When we asked for an explanation we were told ALL the mobile homes were like that and that was that.||||The person whose stuff we were living on top of had also been doing a fair bit of bodges work on the electrics. We kept finding wiring arrangements that looked outright dangerous and extremely unlikely to have been signed off by an electrician. As well as this there were loads of wee post it notes around the mobile home in French telling us not to do this or go here or sit there. We felt like we were squatting in someone's house.||||There was an upshot to this, however, as the mobile home did have certain facilities that we weren't expecting such as a washing machine, dishwasher and flat screen TV. So there was some degree of a pay off. But if all this had been made clear at the point of booking we probably wouldn't

We really like this campsite, the kids really enjoyed themselves and the static caravan was clean, modern, large enough and well laid out. The music generally stopped just after 11 pm. The local town, beach and attractions are very close by and all walkable. The main problem with the site is the lack of sunbeds around the pool thus making every day a mad rush to be able to sit. It needs 50 to 100% more sunbeds to stop this. We also found the distance between the bins and most caravans too far, so more bin locations would help.

Huge campsite about 15 min walk from the sea. Housing was great. We chose the exact place and equipment we needed by booking over the phone. Staff was super helpful Great time for kids, they loved the kids club, the slides and the swimming pool. Fitness classes every day, that was nice even though a location in the shade would be better. Shows were really good quality. More interactive shows (involving the audience) may be good. However, the size of the common areas is not suitable for the actual number of people. Be ready to fight for a chair at the pool or at the bar for the shows. Not enough staff for the bar area, we could have had more drinks... Do not go to all you can eat Mussels on Wednesdays at the Atoll

Great holiday park, lots to do and great location...5 mins from the steipnwith bars, restaurant, shops etc. Beach also with 5-10 mins which is full sand and has bars to rent beds. The them park, adventure golf and go karting also 10 min walk away. Try your best to speak French as it is welcomed. Perfect for families. Entertainment and kids club is all french. Pools are split 1 main, 1 kids, 1 splash pool with slides. Be prepared for the strict pool wear rule...men have to wear trunks/ speedo in the water and in main poll with small.kids at all times.

Been coming here since i was a child. Amazing family friendly site. Clean lots to do and a great location. I cannot wait to come back.

Having so many trees means that in the heat of the day you can throughly enjoy this good holiday resort. Staff are good and the safety personnel around the pools was excellent and reassuring. The restaurant is good and the fact they deliver to your caravan is awesome and for free. Access to the beach and local services is very good and there is lots to do. I would recommend it
