Very weird location like u'r turning back in time. I can't even imagine how all deports were treat at that time. German people should say we're sorry instead of Tschüss☹️

What an amazing place tucked away in the mountains telling an awful story - if you’re in the vicinity (and if you aren’t as I suspect you won’t be, go there!) go and learn about the atrocities committed there!

The only concentration camp built on French Soil. We worth the drive high into the Vosges Mountains

To say I loved a concentration camp is a little off. Found it very interesting, upsetting in parts and chilling. These atrocities should never be forgotten. They died for our freedom.

A place to be seen. One can't believe history didn't touch Alsace and everything is nice as it suggests. History is the part of everyone life, and so it is important to visit, and listen, and read all alsacian histories, even the sad ones, and do something for memory. What I liked most was the "path of the memory and the human rights".

Everyone that has the opportunity should visit this place to witness the brutality, inhumanity and intolerance that man is capable of inflicting on another human being. Once witnessed it is only a short trip to the Convent of Mount St Odile to light a candle and pray such things never happen again. !!!

A very interesting place. Appreciated the tour. Not for young kids. Have to be very respectful. Friendly and helpful staff. Allow a good 2 hours and lots of walking
