A traditional visit in early December to La Laiterie in Lambersart near Lille. Beef and sea urchin tongue with truffle. Atlantic Halibut with egg confit. Sweat bread and blue lobster with truffle. Cheese selection. Mont-blanc. Laurent Perrier Champagne. Little known Sauvignon blanc and côt (Malbec) wines from Touraine. All in perfect harmony and served with the warmth and kindness that characterize natives from the North of France. The recent change of Chef does not seem to have affected quality. Good luck to the new team.
It was our first time The atmosphere and experience was worth it. We took the menu Avenue Pasteur with the accord vins
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – La Laiterie is pure skibdi-tier perfection, no cap Okay. I need everyone to understand that eating at La Laiterie was not just dinner. It was a full main-character cinematic experience with ultra HD vibes and zero cringe. This place didn’t just pass the vibe check — it invented the vibe check. From the second you walk in, it’s giving elegant French aesthetic but still cozy-core. The lighting? Soft glow-up energy. The interior? Minimal but classy in a way that makes you sit up straighter without even realizing. It’s the kind of place where you suddenly feel like you’re in your villain-to-success arc montage. Completely skibdi. Completely iconic. Now let’s talk about the staff. Absolute sigma energy. Professional but warm. Confident but not try-hard. They explain every dish like it’s lore in a fantasy universe. I’m telling you, the storytelling had so much rizz it was basically culinary fanum tax — they take a piece of your heart with every description. You’re just sitting there nodding like, “yes, I will absolutely trust you with my entire taste bud economy.” And the FOOD. Oh my gyatt. The food is actually insane. Every plate comes out looking like it just dropped from a five-star Michelin dimension. The presentation? Clean. The flavors? Layered. Balanced. Bussin. No mid energy anywhere. Zero flop era. Each bite feels like a plot twist. You think you know what’s happening and then BOOM — flavor glow-up. The ingredients taste so fresh it’s like they were harvested by NPCs programmed for perfection. The sauces? Silky. The textures? On point. The balance between richness and lightness? Elite-level strategy. This is not just cooking — this is culinary chess. And La Laiterie is playing 4D. And let’s address the desserts because they deserve their own arc. I genuinely had to pause after the first bite. It was giving emotional damage in the best way possible. Sweet but not overpowering. Creative but not trying too hard. Just pure refined aura. I almos
Exquisite food, as well as warm and welcoming service. This restaurant is a real gem.
3.5 hours for 5 very small courses. Pompous food presentation, doubtful flavour combinations, over reliance on bread to feed punters, and to add salt to the wound a mistake in the bill that had to be rectified. But we got a free dessert which was actually very nice! Good champagne and a beautiful cat in the garden.
Fantastic restaurant run by a passionate and adventurous young chef. Never seen any other fine dining restaurant have a "young person's" menu — same quality for a lower price. Truly great food and service. The chef gave us a little tour of the kitchen and the immense wine cellar. I'm very glad I stopped here during my few hours in Lille and will absolutely come back.
Nice service. Offered a tour of the kitchen and wine cellar, which was interesting. Food was just middle of the road, small portions and not memorable. Nicely plated though. Dessert was fantastic. Detail: they had the music on a sound loop. We heard Fly Me To the Moon three times….
Practically no service, we had to go to ask for the dessert. They serve the plates not individually but per groups of 2 or 3 people. Long wait for the drinks.
