Very disappointing stay. There was no hot water, so I couldn’t take a proper shower. When I asked reception, they told me the water tank is too small for the whole floor and that they can’t do anything about it. This is not acceptable for a hotel. Very poor service.

Perfect trip with a free parking and the room is tidy and good to serve for three people.

Dont ever book a room here if you can get a decent price. Chances are they will cancel your booking a few days before you’re supposed to arrive. They cancelled my booking 3 days before I was supposed to visit Strasbourg. After multiple failed attempts to contact the hotel, I then contacted hotels.com (because it was booked through there). Hotels spoke to B&B and they assured hotels.com that my booking was still valid. However, as you can probably guess, when I went there I was told my booking was cancelled. I did not get a reason despite them confirming to hotels.com BEFORE and AFTER I went there, that my booking was valid. The receptionist was extremely rude and as I tried to make them talk to hotels.com he just mumbled and kept saying something to me in French. Luckily I was provided a new hotel. I cannot and will not ever recommend this “hotel” to anyone.

Good location, nothing fancy, but certainly updated, clean, comfortable and with a very nice breakfast. ||The staff was friendly and helpful.||Though the rooms are not plush, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure good, towels were fine and the breakfast had enough variety to be interesting. ||||We had an upper level room with a canal view and large windows, affording a feeling of spaciousness.||||The challenge for us was the parking. The road in front of the hotel is designated for buses only, and we weren't confident we could stop there to unload our bags (you can). Parking is a large public ramp about a 5 minute walk. When attempting to retrieve our car, the ramp had issues accepting payment, and how to get access to our car after-hours and on a Sunday was not evident. This is not the issue of the Hotel, as they do not own the ramp, but it did impact our stay experience. Luckily the location of the hotel is so desirable that once parked, we only had to exit the ramp when leaving from our visit to Strasbourg.

I’m disappointed to say I had an unpleasant stay due to the shower completely FLOODING the bathroom and half my bedroom. I had stayed at a different B&B Hotel (Mulhouse, Basel) in the same trip and there was an incredibly large difference in standard as it was a close to perfect stay at the other hotel. Having arrived in Strasbourg quite late and checked in around 10:30-10:45pm, I took a shower around 11:30pm and felt I could not go downstairs to ask for assistance with the mopping of the water. I used two bath towels, the hand towel and the bathmat towel to stop the water from spreading further and had to wring out and mop the floor around 10 times before the water was all soaked up. I could see water damage in the bathroom floor as evidence this happens very regularly. Breakfast was also disappointing in comparison to the other B&B Hotel. I went downstairs at 9am and everything was gone and not replaced. No bacon or ham, a lack in flavours for yoghurt, small selection of bread left. Genuinely a shame it did not meet standards. I did tell concierge upon my check out. I hope you’re able to fix these issues as otherwise, the bed was super comfortable, there was a large to available, and looked like the rooms had been refurbished recently.

I had booked a stay in Strasbourg from January 3rd to January 6th, for a total of three nights. The booking confirmation email, made on November 17th, clearly and unequivocally stated that the stay was for three nights. The email was originally in Italian and then also received in English (automatically translated by Google), leaving no room for misunderstanding. The issue arose because their system showed only two nights, from January 3rd to January 5th. The receptionist immediately admitted that this was a system error on the hotel’s side, although communication was made difficult by his poor knowledge of the English language, which should be a basic requirement for anyone working at a hotel front desk. Despite the error being clearly the hotel’s responsibility, instead of offering an appropriate solution I was simply told to look for another hotel. Only later was I offered the so-called “solution” of paying an additional amount to add the third night, subject to availability for Monday. For reasons of principle, I refused: the mistake had been acknowledged as the hotel’s fault, so I should have been able to stay and pay exactly what was stated in my original booking, not more. The situation was handled with an arrogant and unprofessional attitude, as if I were trying to pay less, when in reality I was only asking for the booking conditions to be respected. To explain the increased price, the receptionist even took out a calendar, marked the days and underlined the dates, explaining in a patronizing way—almost as if I were stupid—that Saturday, Sunday and the public-holiday Monday obviously cost more. When I asked for a phone number to contact customer support, he pretended not to know of its existence, claiming that the only option was for me to pay the extra amount. Strangely enough, that number was clearly stated in the booking emails. The situation worsened further when, after I stepped outside the hotel to contact customer support, the same receptionist sarca

It felt safe and warm for us. The room was comfy and clean. The monseur in the lobbly was such a kind person and loves to talk. He was helpful to us, and greeted us every morning and evening with a high energy. He loves his job and that's positive. If you are travelling (especially alone) this place is safe and comfortable for ladies. We chose the hotel because it's close to tramway and the city centre.

The cleaning lady was very loud and screaming. Started knocking on our door at 10AM for no reason, once we opened the door she said “check out at 11”, kind of sad since we already knew it… The same cleaning lady, on another room, knocked and entered the room without permission or any reason. Super uncomfortable. The people at the reception were amazing! We are very happy with the service in the reception.
