First time in Montpellier, so what to visit? Went to the Tourist Office and Christian gave us some very good ideas what we should see. Also recommended 2 nice restaurants for lunch which one of these we had lunch. Excellent service! And as a side note: the service from Christian was in German, very nice!! Thx Christian and Tourist Office Montpellier!

This was my first stop on my first day in Montpellier. Christian was incredibly helpful with suggestions of what to do during my short visit and the map is great. Merci beaucoup!

Visiting the Montpellier Tourist Office was an absolute delight! The guided tours were informative, offered exclusive access to areas usually closed to the public, and were very reasonably priced. I booked the English Guided City Centre Tour – Historic & Cultural Essentials and also added the 72-hour City Card with transport access. A special shout-out to Hannah for her exceptional help and clear instructions on navigating public transport — thank you, Hannah! ☺️

A lady behind the desk was so rude!!! (The farthest one from the entrance on 30 Dec 2025) First of all, when we were waiting to be attended (we were on a queque) after it came to our turn, she didn’t even bother to offer us to approach to her (her other two colleagues was attending other people), she just left us there waiting, ignoring our eye contact… Then we felt a bit ackward so we ask if she could attend us. She said yes. When we asked if there was any new year eve celebrations in the city, she just told us to look at the website… during the conversation when I didn’t understand quite well her English, she got furious and even asked me if I actually speak English?!!!?! I like Montpellier, the people working in the tourism industry, from staff in our hotel to restaurants where we ate, are all very nice and friendly. But this one really so unprofessional, especially when she was in a tourism office, representing the images of Montpellier!

Did the English walking tour which included the Arch and Mikva. Benard was absolutely fantastic, he was really knowledgeable. Would recommend the tour to anyone visiting Montpellier.

We visited the tourism office various times during our three week stay in Montpellier. Each time, we were greeted pleasantly and had all of our questions answered in a friendly, patient and professional manner. We were provided with resources and maps. We also booked a few excursions directly with the person assisting us saving us money over booking with our language school. A few times we were assisted by Christian and presented with a number of great activities, tours and places to explore and experience during our time here. He was so knowledgeable about all things Montpellier and if he didn’t know, he gladly researched. Sara was very helpful in assisting us with an excursion that had been cancelled and our options. It is so impressive the number of languages the employees speak! The office also has wine tasting, a nice gift shop and tables available to sit at and do planning. One of the best Tourist Information centers we have been to in our many travels! Kudos to all the staff!
