We had a lovely stop at Accoceberry Boutique while exploring Espelette, and it turned into one of the highlights of our visit. • The person in the shop was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to walk us through their products and share their knowledge. We were generously offered tastings of different jambons and chorizos, all showcasing the rich flavors of the region, especially with the famous Piment d’Espelette. • We ended up purchasing some Maskarada ham, which is definitely on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it. You can really taste the difference in quality, with a deep, refined flavor that reflects the care put into raising and preparing it. • We also had the chance to try a traditional Basque liqueur. It had a warm amber color and a distinctive anise flavor, slightly sweet and aromatic, with subtle herbal notes. It felt artisanal and very representative of the region, adding a unique and memorable touch to the tasting experience. • Beyond the products themselves, we really appreciated the conversations and the passion for local specialties. It felt authentic, unhurried, and genuinely welcoming. • A must stop if you are visiting Espelette and want to discover the flavors of the Basque region.

Damien did an amazing job. We tried a lot of different delicious cheese and ham. It tasted amazing and the service was awesome!
