The four of us, two adults, two teenagers, stayed here for a night as we were flying out from Bastia Airport the following morning. Rooms are basic, furnishings slightly worn, but not uncomfortably so. The air conditioning was effective. There was a shower over the bathtub but no shower curtain so potential for a lot of splashing. Rooms face either the swimming pool or a neighbouring property. There is a nice stretch of beach at one end of the hotel site and it also has a decent sized swimming pool with depth ranging from 0.9 metre to 2 metres. Showers by the pool appear not to have been used for years. However, the shower on the route back from the beach was fully functional (and useful!).||||Decor at reception and the adjoining restaurant included a must-see range of eclectic cows by different artists. ||||Service was very good. The receptionist was particularly helpful, warning us about likely crowding because of a local team playing at the stadium not far away. We also heard her being helpful to several other guests. Service at the restaurant was also good though we would recommend getting a breakfast inclusive price for your room if you think you might eat in the morning. The standalone price of EUR12 per person is excessive considering what is on offer.
Cozy rooms, although one of ours smelled strongly of disinfectant when we arrived. Awesome display of art and historic artifacts in the restaurant/lobby. Good food and service. We ended up here after our flight was cancelled (booked by the airline), otherwise never would have found it.
The structure has great potential due to the building with large tree-lined parking, the garden, the swimming pool and the almost private access to the beach. Inside large communal rooms unused because they are not refreshed by air conditioning. The first week of August the place was almost empty and therefore the management decided to keep air conditioners and lights off in the evening during dinner. A real mortory. In the suffocating heat no minibar fridge in the room and fortunately we had not chosen half board because I noticed that those who had half board with dinner included, they were brought a menu of the choice of the hotel without the possibility of alternatives and to the view it seemed all pre-cooked or ready-made food. On the menu I ordered an entrecôte that they brought me raw although I had asked for well cooked. In general the food is not good and the breakfast really ridiculous. All industrial food! Very nice and helpful reception staff.
My wife and I stayed here for one night - flying out from Bastia Airport the following day (the airport is just a 10-15 minute drive away). The hotel backs on to a nice stretch of beach and the pool looked a good size.||||The first thing you will notice about the hotel is the eclectic colour scheme (which starts with moody purple in the reception and ends with some fairly special curtains in the rooms) and the collection of curiosities dotted around the place (somebody is a big fan of cows).||||The second thing you will notice, particularly when you reach your room, is the smell of disinfectant which puts you in mind of an old peoples home. The rooms are very basic (no safe or mini bar or shower guard) and the beds are pretty firm. I didn't get a great night's sleep.||||The hotel looks like it's seen better days and the breakfast wasn't great (dry pastries). I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay but it's fine for a stopover due to its beachfront location and proximity to the airport.
Nicely surprised, English spoken reception. Very nice and helpful. Room excellent facing the swimmingpool, very clean. Comfortable bed and pillow. Free fast WiFi. Free Parking. 100m to the beach. Good breakfast. Had three busloads of tourists for dinner but managed to squezze ourself in. Good position nearby the airport.
I stayed at the hotel just before taking an early plane . So very close to the airport and has a pool and close to the sea. You also have a small supermarket close if needs.||The pool is really nice. The restaurant is OK (nothing fantastic but nothing disgusting ) The room decor was old, and not Fresh. the star was friendly and helpful.
This is a coach tour hotel and not set up to cater for independent travellers.||||The only things going for it is the proximity to the airport and the interesting collection of fossils, art deco cows, crystals and dinosaur eggs in the reception area!||||There was only a tour menu on offer in the restaurant. tLuckily, there's a fantastic restaurant down the road called La Trattoria.||||Breakfast was simply perfunctory if not canteen style, grab a tray and join the queue.||||The rooms are extremely basic and smelled damp and unpleasant. There was only one plug socket. The lights looked like fire escape lighting, zero ambience. There was a dirty mark on the tiny pillows. The towels were ancient, rough, tiny & grey. No in room tea and coffee facilities and no toiletries.||||Worst of all there was NO HOT WATER from when we arrived to check out. We weren't told this when we checked in to give us the option to go elsewhere, we were told they would look into it and come back to us, they never did and there was still none in the morning so no chance for a shower. ||||Naturally we asked for a small/partial refund to compensate and we were told no! Thankfully we booked via booking.com who were very kind enough to refund a little back - it was the acknowledgment and the gesture more than the money itself that was important to us.
Very nice hotel. Food and service good, room clean and comfortable. Some nice jewellery for sale in reception.|| at a good price. Liked the cows on display.||Too far from Bastia centre for a holiday, we were just overnight guests.
