My massage was AMAZING.. I had the 60 minute whole body massage and i was in heaven. The spa was included for 60 minutes before or after the massage, and the facilities were great! A wet and dry sauna and pools. The bathroom facilities included a shower, hairdryer and hair straightener. The pools could be a little warmer, but they were nice after the hot saunas. Not very busy on a Friday. The staff are very lovely.

Wonderfully relaxing, well organised and super elegant spa. Merci a Lisa and Angela for a truly professional massage, in fact all the staff is super helpful, super kind and super professional, from reception to cosmetic/ massage services. The facilities are modern, clean, with quality products. Showers are sooo good that you won’t want to get out of them. An outstanding experience that I am looking forward to repeating.

SPEEDO for men not required, and the spa (wellness center) is great. Sirry to my french felliws whom adhere to the hygeine regulations requiring men to wear very revealing swimsuits in public. Im not bashing your kaws, customs, or chouce of swimwear but in my culture its a bit immodest, uncomfortable, and not pleasant to see a fat okd guy like me wearing one. Thank you Spa Parenthesis for being flexible qith your policy. I know many foreign men to france are searching this topuc frantically whilst their lover is making spa reservations. Sigh of relief, just wear a bathing suit that doesnt go below the knees " board shorts". Now for the facility review. It was Christmas Eve and I am alone traveling in Lyon France and decided to take a day trip to Aix-Les-Bains in France. A sent an email to the spa asking if they were open Christmas day and they promptly replied that they were open at 1:00 p.m. I sent another email asking if reservations were recommended or required, and what the swimwear guidelines are. Staff replied reservations are required and sent me a payment link. I responded right away paying them for my three hours of time in the afternoon and looked forward to my visit. The Spa Parenthesis is inside and part of the hotel Golden Tulip. I do not speak a lot of French but the staff at the front desk welcome to me with open arms and explained everything to me in slow French which I understood and I was on my way to enjoy all of the parts of the spa involving water. From a previous post I recommend enjoying the large pool and the Jet features first since the large pool is not as warm as the jacuzzis or saunas or Water tunnel experience. This facility was an excellent condition and thoroughly clean and ready for guests and since it was Christmas day I can't really comment on it being very crowded it was perfect. Lovely spa, lots of hydrotherapy options, clean and efficient. Treatments were wonderful, fantastic massages! Spa products smell great. All at a good price too 🫶🏻🇫🇷💚🌿

Did not like it. Very expensive for the type of service offered! The water is chilly and with lots of chlorine, they allow too many people in and there is a queue for everything. The female bathroom is small and was not clean. The temperature in there is also not pleasant. The staff was nice but I would not recommend this place nor come back. It is hard to find the entrance and to also park the car. We ended up leaving before our time was up.

In Aix, everyone in service industry was wonderfully considerable approaching yet warmly welcoming. if it was checking other thermal spa in Aix, the average services costed likely 1€ : 1 min. and it is inexpensive. furthermore it also needed to concern about how complete there will be for the facilities and amenities there. at la parenthèse offers quite exquisite services that come with guaranteed quality and higher prices. book in advance and splurge the full course. recommend: La flottaison 1 to 2 hr. alone.

Fairly nice but very expensive for what it is. It tries to give the impression of a high-end/luxury spa, which it isn't at all. The water is chilly, and everything is fairly small (1 large pool (30°), 1 hot tub (34°), a kids area (30°), 1 sauna). There are shared chainging rooms, restrooms, and showers. The kids area is quite nice though, also for very small kids.

Disappointed and shocked with the reception here. I suspect we were not treated the same as others as we are not from the country - others arrived without a reservation (same as us) and were allowed in. Whereas they refused to serve us, even though their website said there was availability.
