We did love the surroundings of Domain des Bulles, the beautiful gardens, views, the food at the restaurant was so very good, the staff were fabulous!!| |We did not enjoy our Bulle Air. The reasons being:|* Early morning, it became unbearble with the heat. Inside the Bulle was 32 degrees, outside was 28. We called reception and asked for the air conditioning to be put up. We were told there is a special shade which can be drawn over the Bulle. We were never told this and I'm sure people complained in the past. Too late, the Bulle was an oven by then.|* Lack of pool, but this we knew. Shame they didn't put a little one in like the other Bulles. The hot tube is fine, but it's hot with the heat.|* No internet except the dining area and an area near reception. Not handy if you have to do e-mails at night.|* This is not their fault but the driveway up to the Bulles is terrifying, so be prepared. Very very steep.|* Take earplugs as there are roosters crowing from around 3 am and then all day.|* For a blanket if required during the night is a single blanket for a double bed! Cheap fabric, thin and polyster. Not expected this for the price of the Bulle.||I did see the other Bulles and they were better, but if you don't need internet, if you don't mind the roosters! They were very nice indeed.||I did write to the establishment about these problems and I did receive a standard answer which is nice they replied.

Amazing place, lovely views, very attentive staff. The experience is magical, sleeping under a canopy of trees, dinner and breakfast was delicious. It's a really unique experience and absolutely worth it.

This resort surely delivers what they promise. You have to overcome quite a steep entrance road to get there, but once you are there, you wished you had booked more nights. Your personal area is fully fenced which ensures maximum privacy and, within these fences, a bedroom in your personal bubble, how special is that! Lying in your bed you can see the sky, the stars, parts of the environment and even some small animals e.g. lizards, toads climbing on the bubble. An outdoor bathroom, your own pool, and two possible locations to enjoy breakfast and/or diner. All meals are freshly prepared on site. Staff is friendly, cheerful and very service minded, any issues will be addressed one way or another. Even the language barrier, as we do not speak proper French, did not cause any problems. In summary, privacy in combination with luxury (delicious meals, wonderful massage). Our advice, book your own bubble, if and when possible, you will love it. The view from the bubble could even be better if it would be decided to cut a few branches of the trees. However, we appreciate that this may well be not an option in an eco-friendly atmosphere.

If you are thinking about staying here, do it! It was an incredible and very unique experience. The water bubble was so cool.. it was in a tropical garden and completely transparent. You really felt one with nature. We had the private dinner as well and I can truly say it’s the best meal we’ve had on the island. The chef is fabulous. We had wine in the jacuzzi as well. Heavenly!

We stayed at the bubble hotel for three nights during our honeymoon in May and it was a fantastic experience! The family that owns the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. After a long evening of travel, they helped us find the hotel, which is off a main road. We can only speak a little French, but they spoke English very well and were helpful in pointing us to a phenomenal restaurant for lunch. The food at the hotel was AMAZING and very hearty. We especially loved the egg gratin, the coconut flan with rum sauce, and the coffee. The location of the hotel was good. We could easily drive to Le Marin for lunch and to Fort-de-France for a tour and to catch our plane. The landscape of the island was breathtaking, and the hotel did a great job of capturing the natural beauty of the island into three great bubble environments. We plan on going back someday!

We stayed 2 nights here and it was amazing, watching the full moon and stars from the bull, enjoying dinner and breakfast on your private terras. We had a lovely massage and the host was very friendly. Best service with a smile you het here even if you Dont speak French.|Don t hesitate to stay here, its like a dream!!!

Great experience sleeping in the bubbles of Domaine des Bulles! Every bubble has there own little area where you can relax, have dinner or sit in the sun. Thank you for all the nice recommendations (hikes and restaurants alike)! We hope to come back again!
