What a lovely place to stay. It was a pity we only had one night there. ||Beautiful bedrooms - extremely large - spotlessly clean and all you could want. ||There’s a pool, sauna & hot tub. Ample free & safe parking and all just a short walk to the centre of Cognac. ||Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and everything fresh. ||I will definitely be staying for a longer period next time I’m in Cognac.
Lovely former cognac house in a perfect location for walking the city. Rooms are quite well appointed. Breakfast available. The gardens are perfect for a wine and cheese evening.
Unfortunately only a one night stay huge suite with kitchenette and fridge, clean and warm I loved the jacuzzi bath, comfortable king size bed, good breakfast obviously pool not open yet but the garden looked lovely as was the building. I would recommend to anyone staying in Cognac Excellent value for money.
Fantastically preserved pretty chateau, well situated to explore Cognac and surrounds. The grounds are charming, well maintained and include a small swimming pool with terrace. Staff are pleasant, breakfast functional, rooms excellent and showers the best I've had anywhere in the world.
Stayed here as a couple in September. Our room was a mini suite, spotlessly clean, luxurious bathroom and plenty of room. The owner and his team could not do enough to help you. Breakfast was served upstairs and was serve yourself buffet style. Plenty of fresh bread, ham, cheese, eggs, fruit etc. All fresh and plentiful. The grounds are lovely and has the bonus of a lovely pool which we had to ourselves most days. It was a 10 minute walk into town with some lovely bars and restaurants. Also, next to the Chateau is a lovely Logis (owned by the owner of the chateau) where we had a lovely menu du jour with cheese and wine for a very good price. Service and food were lovely. Next time we are Cognac we will definitely stay at the Chateau.
This place is a MUST the grounds are unbelievably beautiful. The rooms are quite large. But the most amazing part is the Host. The gentleman that owns it so so kind and welcoming that you never want to leave. He literally will run to grab what ever you need even when it was ice from upstairs. ❤️❤️ If you are looking for a dream experience than stay here! The experience is top notch!!! We paid three times as much at the Waldorf Astoria and did not receive a fraction of the amazing service that is given at Chateau Pellisson.
My wife and I just returned from our European vacation. We spent 3 nights at the Chateau Pellisson in Cognac. This is an absolutely wonderful Bed and Breakfast right near the train station. Everything in Cognac is walking distance. If you are planning a trip to Cognac, I highly recommend this as your place to stay. The suite are huge and the staff is wonderful. Great breakfasts are laid out each morning. You simply can not beat the price.
We found this place on a booking website and only intended to stay one or two nights, but when we got there we were so impressed we decided to extend our stay to 4 nights. The Chateau is absolutely beautiful with each room individually designed and unique, with lots of space and bright light with large comfortable beds. Because we extended our stay we ended up staying in four of the five rooms due to prior bookings with other guests so we were lucky to experience nearly all of the rooms. The owner Jean-Luc, was super friendly and really helpful in making arrangements for us. |They provide a good traditional French breakfast with lots of pastries, cereals, juices and breads and great coffee.||The outdoor facilities are a real treat with a pool and sun terrace and a pool out-house containing a large high-quality Jacuzzi and a small two-person sauna which we made maximum of use of during our stay. The Chateau is attached to a small hotel which has a lovely restaurant area and a number of rooms, on our last night they were fully booked, but Jean-Luc took us to some new studios attached to the hotel that had only just been renovated which were both really nice, with quality furnishings and good air-conditioning and a kitchenette, if you are looking for a few days of luxury in Cognac - this is the place for you!
