LA PETITE COLLINE

The restaurant has nice terras and if you go there to taste bush meat (viandes bwa), then you basically have to know you pay for the experience, not really to fill in the belly. The meat is beautifully presented, but since method of preparation is not stew (was not swimming in sauce), the probably already dry bush meat becomes even drier; many bones little meat. Especially tatoo is almost no meat - just ‘looks’. We found the starter salads too skimpy for the charged price. Ethiopian coffee was bland in taste. One star for the laminated pictures of the animals for offer on the menu (attached) and the other star for the fresh dragon juice (6.5 euro…)

My experience at this restaurant was not very good, my French is only basic, so I tried to ask explanation of the menu and the waitress was very absent and only interested in the (well-speaking French) men in our group... I ended up eating something I did not like very much fried, fat, tasteless, and opposite to what I asked for..

The service was friendly and the food was very good. I would recommend and I would go back.

If you aren't from French Guyana or countries around, this place is a good place to eat and to discover the local food. Experience guarantees ! Bad thing? Quite pricy.

« Caz Mimi » est le restaurant a ne pas manquer à Cayenne! Un accueil chaleureux, une cuisine locale extraordinaire dans un décor charmant et bien décoré. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous allez adorer.

Nous sommes arrivés en groupe d’amis, nous avons été très bien accueilli . La serveuse nous a Proposer directement la carte. Nous avons passé commande. Nous avons très bien mangé pour un prix très correct. Je le recommande à toute personne passant à Cayenne. Si y a bien un restaurant à tester c’est celui-ci avec de la nourriture locale.Un très bon restaurant que nous recommandons.
