Avis
Excellent supermarket chain. You must respect local customs i.e. only enter where marked and only exit where marked and you’ll be fine. The people and all fantastic and the supermarket is fantastic. The food variety is excellent and the service is amazing. We moved to France on December and this has quickly become our favorite supermarket to shop at.
Fantastic grocery store!
I was able to buy food and other supplies for less than 12€ It's very convenient for me as a student Very great customer service aswell👍🏾
One star because some food is cheap. But beware, tourists -- if your French isn’t impeccable, employees refuse to utter even a word of English. The toilets? Filthy, no toilet paper, and soapless. And if you ask, you'll get a roll. Just one for your stall. And here’s the kicker: if you dared enter without the intention of buying, prepare for imprisonment. No purchases, no exit. Leclerc, where browsing is a crime and customer service is a myth. Avoid like the plague.
Our local supermarket when we're in Bordeaux. It pretty much has anything and everything you'd want, with the added bonus of not being super huge and overwhelming like the proper big hypermarchés. The fresh food sections offer a great variety of produce, all fresh and tasty. Very good wine section. Prices are mostly average. Outright recommendation!
A nice supermarket. You will find everything one needs for his everyday life. There is a big parking space in front of the supermarket. The waiting time at the counter is usually non-existent. Enough counters are usually opened so that no one wait more than what is considered acceptable! Well ordered, practical and somehow less expensive than some other supermarkets in France.
Generally friendly, helpful staff. Just the right size, not too big. Two negatives: would be nice if it opened earlier than 9, not practical for parents who need to get stuff after dropping kids off at school. And considering the opening time, no excuses for palette trucks and piles of boxes blocking the aisles during opening time ( poor management).
Large supermarket with a great wine selection (which is to be expected in the Bordeaux area I guess). Slightly pricy. The cashier wanted to look in my bags in order to prevent shoplifting... I understand that but it violates the customers' privacy in my opinion.
