Room was extremely dusty and dirty. I add a picture of the entrance door of our room Crumbles of bread were around the bed. White socks turned immediately black when walking in the room. Kitchen was never cleaned properly. It was greasy and dirty as well. Upon our arrival we wanted to leave immediately, but (unfortunately) we couldn't. Our initial stay was planned for 4 nights, but we left just after 2 nights. I personally never had specific issues with dusts, but in that room me and my daughter (20 months) kept coughing all the time (While going out for a walk none of us was coughing). Considering how dirty was the floor and all the wooden panels, table, kitchen elements, I wouldn't be surprised if all that coughing was caused by air filters never cleaned. We complained immediately on our arrival about the dirt, the first evening... but we adapted and stand it for half of our holidays. As previously said, pur initial booking was for 4 nights, but we decided to anticipate our depature after 2 nights. To resume: Pro: - position - covered parking (14 eur/night) - breakfast -24 hour reception Cons: - extreme dust and very poor cleaning. We will not be back. A last word to say that it is a pity because the position and the aparthotel has huge potential, but cleaning must be improved. A removal of dusty and old moquette in common areas and a layer of new white paint (at least in our room) would help.
Very dirty bathroom- clearly the hotel didn’t take note of the previous comments from trip advisor. A bit of bleach and good cleaning would have sorted this- not sure why the cleaning team do not do anything about this. Dirty around the taps and on the walls. |Had to laugh at the remarks on the welcome page regarding the hotel would charge you if the room was not to standard . ||We even have to take off the bedding- again isnt this the cleaners job? What did they do?||Took photos to show how bad the room was.||Pillows were terrible and lumpy.||Needs a good painting.||Glassware was chipped and couldn’t be used.|Cannot see what the cleaning team were doing in this hotel. Only changed rooms every four days so no change of towels were provided. ||Noisy and the smell of weed being used from other guests. Not very nice as had to close the balcony and shouldn’t be allowed. ||Our room was next to an air conditioning / heating unit which was very noisy at night.||We had booked two exact rooms but seems like one of the rooms was very small than the other one. I had booked two superior rooms and the other one was very basic and very very tiny. Not impressed at all.||Some of the staff were not very welcoming. No smiles especially at breakfast time.||Positives|Close enough to Monaco
Customer service here is surprisingly poor. I honestly couldn’t believe the situation. They have a high-quality WMF espresso machine, but also a cheap vending machine serving very low-quality coffee. I politely asked if I could buy an espresso from the proper machine, but they told me the only way was to purchase the full breakfast for €20. I explained that I was happy to pay just for the espresso, but Im not hungry, they still refused, saying it was “impossible.” It felt like either a lack of flexibility or simply poor understanding, as communication in English was quite limited. It’s hard to believe this kind of experience still exists in 2026, especially in Monaco. Aside from that, the rooms are fine, but very outdated.
Not sure why all the bad reviews. We had an apartment on the 6th floor. It had a small balcony and a view between buildings of the sea. The room was clean. It appeared to have been recently refreshed with new paint and bed. TV was huge and new. Wifi (open) worked but did not allow my VPN. Reception was friendly and directed us to restaurants as we arrived late on a Monday night. 17 minute almost flat walk to station. Not bad for 3 star.
Excellent, very close to Monaco beach and about 15 minutes walking distance to the casino and Mónaco Train station. Good internet, comfy bed, lots of hot water and fresh towels. I will reserve it again.
A great little hotel at the edge of Monaco (Menton isn't far). The rooms are very clean, the mattress is excellent and not at all saggy, and the bathroom is clean with a great shower. It also has a small kitchen and a refrigerator. Wi-Fi is included, of course. But most importantly... the parking garage is right next door. It costs €14, but parking is otherwise quite difficult to find. And a view to the sea. Dogs are welcome. It's a 14-minute walk from the casino, but buses run everywhere and are very cheap. I highly recommend it. So far, the best hotel for a normal budget.
The apartment was overall fine and you can definitely book it. We were happy about a good price and the location which is very close to Grimaldi forum and Casino. If you are looking for a luxury location, it's definitely the wrong one. If you look at all the details, the flats should probably be renovated. There are stains, the drain does not flow off easily, the shower joints are not the nicest, the Toilette paper is super thin and only 2 rolls for the week for 2 people, the floors in the staircase is a bit smelly, and I think more towels would be nice. We only come there for sleeping so it's not really relevant but if you're picky make sure to book a hotel and not this apartment.
Unfortunately , this was one of the worst hotels I stayed in. So old and dirty that I wanted to sleep in my clothes. I claimed that back and they gave me the email of the manager, but after several emails, I did not even get an answer. Very bad English at the reception. Never again. I think the pictures are talking for themselves. And I had a “room superior” for a very high price.
