Haut de Cagnes is a gem. A charming old town within easy reach of Nice. The Grimaldi Palace would be worth a visit even without the art exhibits. Don't miss the chapel entrance opposite the exit from the Palace.
What a cute little village, very clean and friendly
Amazing little historic town high up on a hill with great views from the cute town square. Be aware that the castle museum closes from 12:00 to 14:00. Parking your car can be difficult, so be prepared to walk a bit or take the bus from Cagnes-sur-Mer.
Excellent hill top village with a castle Chateau at the top. Not changed in centuries very pretty with fantastic views. A free bus service takes you down to the lower level town of cagnes sur mer. Takes you back in time. Beware very steep at times.
Charming small hill town that we walked to from Antibes. (2.5 hours). Off season but almost a half dozen restaurants open. A steep final climb but well worth it.
A tiny charming village on the top of the hill. Great spot for a lunch… don’t miss a church next to Grimaldi Castle 🙂
Lovely medieval village
We walked up but a free shuttle bus is available. We arrived at the museum at noon and it was closed until 2pm. So, unfortunately, we could not see inside.
