A very lovely lunch. Each item on the menu set is of great quality (€38.5 for an appetizer, steak with bone marrow, and a dessert of your choice). I highly recommend the beef tartare and the bone marrow. Applause to the lady who served us. She always wear a smile and have everything in control even though the restaurant is totally full. A charming, rustic tavern with stone-lined walls and an inviting, old-world atmosphere - the perfect setting to enjoy authentic Alsatian cuisine. The menu is packed with regional specialties, and every dish we tried was a standout. The Tarte Flambée with Münster cheese, sauerkraut, and speck was an unexpected but delicious combination - tangy, rich, and full of flavor. The Bouchée à la Reine was absolutely divine: a golden, buttery puff pastry filled with a creamy mushroom sauce and tender pieces of chicken and veal. Comforting, decadent, and beautifully balanced. Desserts were equally impressive. The Île Flottante was light, airy, and delicate - like eating a sweet cloud - while the profiteroles were classic perfection: creamy vanilla ice cream with warm, rich chocolate sauce. A match made in dessert heaven. Service was polite, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Alsatian dishes in a warm, authentic setting. A true culinary gem!

This was probably my favorite restaurant while visiting France. It has a small town vibe that feels authentic and caring. Been here several times over the years.

Charming place with delicious flammenkuchen. As a starter they had in suggestions tacos with salmon, which conquer my taste buds. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very special place on culinary map of Obernai. We’ve been there many times and food is always delicious and atmosphere friendly and lively. This a restaurant you should visit if you’d like to try authentic Alsatian cuisine and spend some quality time with friends or family. Don’t forget to book ahead because this place is always full!

We were there for dinner. All food are amazing. They have variety of wines. The place was cozy.

Absolutely loved it, we went for a special meal. The food and service were excellent. The wine was also very good. There were several items on the menu that you don't see often . I can definitely recommend the lièvre façon royale. Not cheap but very good value for money.
