Hello ive just visited this bakery with my grandfather and there is a salesperson with a mustache and a shaved head who wears glasses and who spoke rudely to my 80-year-old grandfather, who simply couldn't hear his answers. He was very rude, and I advise you to avoid this place.

Came across this as we cycled the Saône cycle path from Lyon. Classy Boulanger located on right bank of the river in what appears to be a small village. My cappuccino and apricot tart were superb as was my wife's almond croissant. Surely a destination boulangerie? Postscript : over the last week I have visited two more times, and the pastries are amazing. Tip : the almond croissant is one of the best I have eaten in France!

Found this amazing little gem along the Saône, a short distance from where I'm staying. The best slice of what one pictures as a French Boulanger. Jocteur le Boulanger de l'Île Barbe, my new favourite stop! The staff were amazing, the food was incredible. The coffee was what you hooe for. And the price, I thought initially there was was a mistake (in that they missed something and undercharged me). Shockingly great cost for what you get! If you're traveling through the area, stop in. I will be!

Hands down one of the most romantic and delicious bakeries I‘ve been to. Very welcoming staff too and perfect for having breakfast outside! 🥰

There are places that are worth a trip back to the city and the praline brioche here makes it worth the trek all the way here in Ile Barbe. Couldn't stop thinking about the praline brioche so despite the crazy rain we took two buses here and happily enjoyed our coffee along with the amazing bennette (?) Hot chocolate, lemon meringue, and of course the praline brioche. Do not miss this place! Worth a trip back to Lyon for this!

This is the best bakery I’ve had the pleasure of frequently visiting when I lived in Lyon. Literally everything here is amazing: their savory quiches, the pizza’s, the breads and pastries, the salads, and don’t even get me started on their dessert selection!! Tip: grab whatever fits your fancy and go to the Île barbe across the bridge for a chill picnic with view on the river - just perfect 😍

Get the praline tart — it will haunt your dreams and make you want to get more. you can always get one at les halles in the city but you can always come here for a nice trip away from the city and have a mini picnic on Île Barbe if it’s a nice day.

Insanely good and delicious pastries! What a pleasant surprise to find this bakery. Best strawberry tarts I ever tried in my life, and I ended up going back daily to get it. Do go earlier if you want try their pastries as quite a few varieties got sold out by a certain time. Really nice and cute little spot to chill as well!
