Avis
We love climbing towers for sweeping views of a city, but this one didn’t quite live up to expectations. The views from the top are decent, but not particularly memorable. There are around 360 steps, and the timed ticketing system makes the climb up and down fairly comfortable without overcrowding. If you’re planning to visit, it’s best to book your tickets in advance, as they tend to sell out. The facade of the tower is pretty
Absolutely amazing place! You need to get to Bruges at least once in your life. Climbing the Belfrey is awesome! Fun. A little challenging and exciting! The view at the top is breathtaking. If you can catch the Bells playing while in the tower even better!
You pay money to climb up 14 stories of the tower. The stairwell is not for the claustrophobic. There are levels where you can stop and catch your breath. If you are lucky, you get to hear the music from the bells. The view at the top is worth the climb though. Stay a bit longer to make your money's worth
Veey beautiful place, must visit bruges. Overall city is 10 out of 10, soecially for city walk. Overall tourist places are great even residential area apart from tourist places are also very beautifully managed.
Really amazing old bell tower with a superb view of the city. Absolutely worth the trek up the stairs to see this unique landmark! Beware of you're not good with stairs or tight spaces, as the quarters are close towards the top.
We got tickets in advance and that’s a good thing because the people in front of us were told the earliest tickets were 4 hours later. I really enjoy climbing stairs and thought it was fun to go up these spiral stairs. The views were fantastic. Much more worthwhile than Ghent belfry.
Here’s a brief Google Maps review: “The Belfry of Bruges is a magnificent landmark and a must-visit when exploring Bruges. The historic tower offers stunning panoramic views of the city after climbing the steps. The architecture, rich history, and charming atmosphere of the Market Square make this a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bruges! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐” 🏰✨🇧🇪
Nice views on the Brugge. Tickets bit pricy for just a view, but the tower is 800 years old and when bells ring, its nice experience. Easy to climb the stairs, i was expecting harder.
