We stayed at Forge for a few days for a family reunion….what an amazing place! The grounds are stunning, the wildlife is abundant, so many birds, deer, and frogs singing us to sleep at night! There are sculptures and follies to discover in the gardens, as well as three lakes and a rowing boat. The house is spacious, quirky, stylish and very well equipped. There is plenty to do….pool, sauna, hot tub, games room, library, music room. The bedrooms are very comfortable, there is a massive dining table, three kitchens, and the social spaces are all large enough to cater for large groups. We had a wonderful time, Sabina and Andrew are lovely people and considerate hosts, I hope we can come again!

A stunning place, ideal for a big family get-together. Sabina and Andrew were great hosts. Loved the big swimming pool, the library is amazing and the whole place was so well equipped with artwork, books, games, musical instruments, and more. The billiards table was well used. The grounds are also fantastic, lots of wild life, birds, and quirky follies. I loved it, didn't want to leave.

The forge is fantastic! There were over 20 of us staying and it never felt cramped. There are plenty of rooms which can accommodate at least that number but also smaller cosy places for a quiet read. The restoration has been sympathetic to it's origins and the tasteful and eclectic decor provides plenty of interest.

Forge is a stunning place - so peaceful. The extensive grounds are amazing, everywhere you go there’s something unusual to spot. The accommodation itself is spacious, spotless and with plenty to do. We were there at the same time as a few other guests and never felt crowded. The hosts are so welcoming and absolutely fabulous cooks!

Such a beautiful property in a beautiful part of France. The accommodation is comfortable and welcoming with very thoughtful touches throughout. The grounds are spacious and offer so many different areas to explore. From temples, woodlands, lakes and meadows, Forge has it all. Looking forward to my next trip.

Forge is the most beautiful, relaxing place to get away from it all in rural France. Sabina and Andrew are generous, welcoming hosts more than happy to share their knowledge of the local area. The grounds are wonderful to explore or find a quiet place to read a book. Plenty to see within reasonable driving distance. Perfectly clean but with bags of character. I can't wait to go back.

Had the most beautiful long weekend here with friends. The house and grounds are breathtaking and the beds were extremely comfy. Even with poor weather there is still so much to do and will definitely be rebooking for the summer! 10/10 recommend and the host are extremely accommodating.

What a stunning and comfortable property to stay at, beautiful surroundings with no shortage of ways to relax and enjoy yourself. Me and my friends had an unbelievable time and cant thank the hosts enough for their hospitality and professionalism! We will absolutely be back again and would highly recommend anyone else visiting!
