LES CHALETS DE MONTRIOND

Absolutely brilliant hotel, far exceeded my expectations. The location for the slopes really can’t be much better, completely Ski in Ski out, yet easy to get the car to the door due to the infrastructure of the resort. The hotel has been refurbished recently and everything is in fantastic condition and quite nicely done. Great little bar and plenty of cosy corners to enjoy an aperitif or a cheeky Picon biere. The food (we were half board), was plentiful and very good quality, especially the breakfasts. Evening meals were very well done and varied enough to keep it all interesting, with lots of local produce and some good wines available. (the local Merlot in particular was surprisingly good.) Overall, however, I would say the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Thierry is the boss and he is always visible, takes it personall and is always on hand (not sure when he sleeps?) making sure everyone is having a comfortable stay. Every single member of the team was pleasant, professional, efficient and took their job seriously. Special mention must go to Margot and Enzo who were brilliant fun and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, but honestly, every member of staff made us feel very welcome and as a result, we had a really lovely stay. If you get the chance to go to the Chaudron for dinner in the Polaris, this is a really great experience, the journey is something special and the food is excellent. Overall (and especially considering value for money), this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had and really could not fault anything, far from it. (the kids even said the Wi-Fi was good!) I think it’s very likely we will come back, maybe even in the summer. Thanks, Thierry and the Montriond team.

A great stay at Chalet MONTRIOND. We arrived on the 26th December and stayed for 4 nights. Buffet breakfast was good and the staff were always helpful and attentive. Clean, tidy and right on the slopes. A great find. Thoroughly recommend. Little things like a heated boot room, sauna and superb host make this a great place to stay.

Perfect location right in the skiing area, very friendly stuff, good accomodation and good food. I can only recommend this chalet. We were here for a end of the week ski-trip and it was worth every meter of travel. If you book via their homepage (instead of booking.com) you can find good offers. Highly recommend this place

We came to the hotel to use the sauna and the owner welcomed us with a huge smile! The staff is extremely gentle and we felt like home. He offered us a little room to leave our things during our things while we used the sauna for no extra price. We would definitely come back!

If you're looking for an amazing ski-in/ski-out location, this is a fantastic place to stay. The staff were amazing and super friendly, doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. They offer dinner in the evening of varying themes, which for us was decent, but we enjoyed eating our around the area more. The rooms were nice and clean, the only complaint really was the toilet seat in the room which kept moving around with the lid always falling onto your back while sitting down. Other than that, the location and ease of access to the slopes were amazing and made it worth staying here.

This place is awesome! The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The location is incredible. I think it was ten steps away from the slope and 100 meters from the lift. My partner and I were one of the first ones on the 0830 lift everyday. However, the best part of the stay was Thierry and his staff. Everyone was kind, courteous and helpful. Thierry went above and beyond to make you feel at home and make sure you enjoyed your self in this little paradise!

Love this place! The owner and staff are all amazing. Breakfast is great. It’s clean and well decorated. It is RIGHT ON THE SKIN SLOPE! The two saunas and spa sitting are lovely. This is just the best place. We have to come back in the summer to experience all the hiking and biking.

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 5. We had to change our dates before we arrived and Thierry and his team were super accommodating. The proximity to the slopes was superb and the staff were super helpful in helping us organise all aspects of our stay. We will definitely be returning!
