We loved this hotel! The locations is wonderful - close enough to the train station and also the old town. The rooms were fantastic- modern feel and very clean. The bathroom had beautiful sliding doors to maximize the space (now they were somewhat transparent so if you will need privacy, keep this in mind). There was also a smell in our hallway but nothing carried into the room and the rest of the place made this so minor. There is a nice bar downstairs in the lobby. The staff were pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel.||While the hotel is newly furnished, the rooms are clean, and the location is convenient, the experience lacked basic kindness, compassion, and hospitality.||As a traveler, I expect some patience when guests are navigating an unfamiliar place, especially when they may not speak fluent French. Instead, I watched several tourists struggle to understand how things worked, and I was personally reprimanded while trying to fill my water bottle for a day of travel, even though I cleaned up after myself and left the area exactly as I found it.||The interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and reflected a broader lack of hospitality that I observed throughout my stay. For travelers looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay, I would skip this expensive hotel and look for other accommodations.

Positive: Location is amazing, short walk to most Bayonne sights (the art museum is next door). Our room had an excellent view of the rooftops of nearby buildings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fun decor. Negative: ""

The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the room itself was well-equipped with good amenities. The breakfast was also enjoyable, and overall I think the hotel offers good value for the price.||That said, our experience with the front desk was disappointing. The service was close to rude at times, which affected our overall impression. Even though we had messaged in advance to request a twin-bed setup, the room was not prepared accordingly upon arrival. This was only corrected the following day, which was inconvenient.||Another downside was that the room did not include a refrigerator, which would have made the stay much more comfortable.||Overall, it is a reasonably good option in terms of location, comfort, and value, but the reception service definitely needs improvement

We stayed here for one night on Sunday 16th May. The hotel is centrally located within this beautiful town. The room was comfortable and clean. Lots to do nearby to explore the local area, we flew out of biaritz airport. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, thank you!

The reputation of the man at reception is well earned. He was intimidating and hostile. Any request was met with a sneer or sarcasm. He slouched in his chair with half-lidded eyes, just waiting with a smarmy response. Okay, I’m not marrying the guy, so let’s just check in. He gave us one key and balked when I asked for a second. The room: definitely nice enough, BUT I couldn’t get the a.c. to work. Calling Reception: There’s absolutely no indication on the phone or “literature” on what to dial and what buttons to push as well. I used my cell phone to reach the desk and a nice lady (thank god) said that the AC to my room was turned off! Why??|Okay, I’ve connected the desk, my room is frosty, what else could go wrong?|After dinner, we returned to the room at 11PM. It REEKED of cat pee or a dead mouse. The nice (different) guy downstairs moved us to another room. In the morning, the guy who lets you know that you are wasting his time, was on duty. I asked him kindly if the hotel would comp us breakfast for the inconvenience (we had to pack and move at midnight, etc). He said, sourly, that moving us was compensation enough.|Next night, no a.c., call to the desk, who, again, said they would turn it on for us. I’m surprised we weren’t charged extra.|So, no free breakfast (which was pathetic, anyway). No valued customer. No happy vibe. What a terrible, terrible stay.|Moral: don’t think that a 4 Star hotel necessarily has professional employees. Regardless, It’s not about them, it’s about us. Management should ensure that they make our stay go smoothly, and with a smile. Btw, I checked out the the OKKO down the street, which looked pretty good.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. From the moment you step in to the moment you leave, and beyond, you feel like you have entered into a luxury spa villa. For the price especially (at this time of year : March) you can’t go wrong. The service was incredible, the finishing touches as well. I have a major criticism : the bathroom doors slide together and are two way glass with one being mirror and the other being see through…. The problem being that you can totally see through from the bedroom side in, and when you are staying with family it can be very awkward. I do like that the doors slide however because it really did open up the room. 3 other minor criticisms : slight moisture smell sometimes, the twin beds were not the most comfortable, and the one blind didn’t open leaving the room to feel a little dark in the day. But again, these criticisms shouldn’t deter you from a stay at this incredible hotel. Thankyou to the staff for our stay, I hope to come again very very soon.

Wonderful location in Bayonne. Strong wifi signal. Bathroom very nice and new. Bed comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast buffet nice, but would be much better to have table coffee/tea service instead of self service machine drinks. Machine drinks are never hot enough and are cold immediately. Wish there was a minibar in room. Staff would store items for you if needed. Would recommend and stay again if in Bayonne.
